Chapter 8 ~ Ethan
__________________________________________________________________________________
It was Monday morning and Angel and Memory were heading out the door. Ready to make their way down to school. Angel one penned the door and instantly screamed. There standing at their doorway was none other then Ethan. Memory peered over Angel's shoulder to see what the cause was for her high pitched screamed. She scowled when she saw him, not to fond with the surprise that was waiting for them.
"Hey." He broke the silence. His tone was soft, not his usual loud, enthusiastic noise that he calls his voice.
"What do you want?" Memory snaps coldly from behind Angel. He looked a little taken back form Memory but doesn't say anything. They just stood there awkwardly, he shifted his weight from his left to his right leg. He wore his uniform properly for once and his blond hair hung past his deep brown eyes as he hung his head. Angel thought he looked so innocent and weak. Defenseless.
"We're waiting!" Memory snapped again.
"I need to talk to Angel." He spoke again. Angel was surprised that he wanted to talk to her.
"We'll I'm sorry, she's not available to you right now." Said coldly again as she grabbed Angel's forearm a nd started to drag her down the hallway leaving Ethan on his own.
Once they were far enough away from Ethan, Angel spoke to Memory. "What was that for?"
Memory sighed and released her grip from her arm. " he just really hurt me that's all."
"I know did you see the way he looked? He seemed upset! Why couldn't you just let me talk to him!" Angel exclaimed as they started to walk down the small pathway to the school.
"I'm sorry, just ever time I see him I want to smack him across that pretty boy face of his." She grunted.
"I understand just please don't do anything drastic."
She smiled at her, "you have my word."

It was lunch time and Nate, Memory, Sophie, and Angel all sat at their usual table eating their food keeping up a lively conversation. Sophie and Memory sat on one side of the table while Angel and Nate sat on the other side. Nate sat so close to Angel that their hips touched, Angel didn't mind at the least bit though.
"And then she screamed so loud I thought that my ears were going to burst, but it was worth it!" They all laughed tears falling or filling their eyes at Sophie's hilarious story. Their laugher was short lived when Memory started to stare at something behind Angel. They all turned their heads and saw Ethan standing there staring at Angel. He smiled a little at her and she returned it.
"Angel, can I talk to you?" He asked hopefully. Before Angel could answer, she felt a strong arm wrap around her shoulder and hug her to their side tightly. She looked over to the person and saw Nate staring at Ethan angrily.
"Sorry, but she's kinda busy at the moment." Nate snaps angrily. Angel shot a small smile toward Ethan and then turned back to Nate.
"It's okay, I'll be back in a minute." Nate looked at her unsure but Angel flashed him a reassuring smile. He reluctantly released her from his grip and she stood up and followed Ethan outside of the cafe.
"What do you want?" Angel says sternly once they were safely away from the loud cafeteria.
"About something very important." Worry laced his voice.
