Chapter 4 ~ Weird...

_________________________________________________________________________

"MISS BLACK!" Oh no...

The whole class turned to look my direction, I suddenly felt as if I was being convicted of a murder or something of the sort. But nope, I have to endure something much more worse then that, the torture of an entire tenth grade math class staring at me intently waiting for the most pathetic excuse I could give for being forty-seven minutes late. Great... This is not going to help me at all. I saw Memory staring at me with wide eyes, frightened written all over them. Then I turned to the teacher and I could see her cold, dead eyes boring straight into mine. I tried to give her half a smile, but I epically failed. If stares could kill, I would be more then dead right now. "I am sorry Mrs. Williams, I have a really adequate explanation for being forty-seven minutes late!" I rush before she could say something harsh to me before I have a chance to defend myself.

"I sure hope there is." She snorts. Okay, I already know which teacher is going to be on the bottom of my favorite teacher list, and the one I need to please the most.

"I fell asleep in my dorm and I had to run down, but then I noticed that I did not have my schedule or my locker number, so I had to run back up and find it. By the time I found it, I ran back out and encountered....some problems. Then I had to put all of my books in my locker, and then I came in here." I did not bother to mention the boy I ran into out side, there is no need to be a snitch.

She looked sceptical for a moment, studying my face for any trace of deception. Her dark hawk eyes softened and she relaxed a bit, "Very well, I believe you. I am letting you off with a warning only because you are new."

"Thank you very much Mrs.!" I exclaim and run over to the only empty seat in the room which happens to be next to Memory.

"Alright class, before I was so rudely interrupted," Mrs. Williams shot me a quick angry glare. I blushed at the attention she was giving me. "I was saying that these seats that you are currently sitting in are your seats for the rest of the year. When the bell rings, you are free to go. Thank you class." She walks behind her desk and sits down on her swivel chair.

"So, what were your 'some problems' you encountered?" Memory asks me suddenly. I look over to her and she seems to be holding in a scowl.

"Um, yeah, When I came down from the dorm and started to run for the school, I bumped into someone. He said that he was a student but he was not wearing his uniform and was walking around as if he did not have a care in the world. We got into a small argument, why?" I asked confused.

"What did he look like?" She asks me. I could practically see smoke coming out from her ears. She was really fuming.

"He was about six foot, messy blonde hair, dirt brown eyes, why?"

"Dear God why?" She exclaimed staring off into space.

"What's wrong, do you know him?"

"Yeah, I met him last year and we dated for a while. But I knew it was too good to be true because he was the perfect boyfriend before I found him cheating on me with Sophie. That's how we got to know each other better because when she found out that he did the same on her, we started to hang out and became close friends."

"Wow, what's his name?"

"Ethan. But I suggest that you stay way from him okay?"

"Yeah I get it, I was just curious that's all."

"Okay, I have to warn you though-". Memory was cut off by the school bell ringing.

"I will tell you later!" Memory said as she dashed out of the room. I sighed and then walked out and headed to my locker. I started to put in my combination in when I saw a familiar mass of brown hair bobbing beside me. "Sophie?"
