Ch - 31

The staircase didn't seem long as it appeared to be, as the trio went about with their conversations based on the past where everything seemed normal even though it was far from that. Taehyung had this gorgeous smile on his face, that seemed to outshine even the brightest light hanging up from the ceilings above.

" No way I used to be so childish! " Taehyung gasped, a hand on his mouth to suppress the giggle so that his seriousness wouldn't be overshadowed. However, the couple could only chuckle as they remembered the good old times.

" Yes you were. I mean look at you, still saying things like a carefree college student straight out of highschool. " Namjoon teased, earning a slight nudge accompanied with a cute giggle from his husband. The younger one among them gasped once again, yet a little exaggerated from the previous ones.

However, Taehyung couldn't deny that he did become so much more..... Taehyung-like now. He could feel the rush of that weird feeling surging through him again when he first started to cozy up to the gang members. Was it nostalgia, or just belonging?

Taehyung broke out from his trance when he entered the large terrace behind the couple. The area had a marbled floor pool with tempered glass railing at the edges. Plants decorated the corners where it appeared vacant. A bar illuminated with vibrant linear array lights stood on his far left, while a bartender expertly showcased his cocktail shaking skills.

Though the terrace was large, only a very few people were present, including the servants who walked along the beautifully tiled floor to serve drinks and food to the guests. The chairs in the bar side were occupied by men drinking while chatting leisurely.

As they reached the bar, the people around then seemed to look more clearer to Taehyung. Now he could comprehend that the bartender was actually Hoseok who was now pouring the drinks into glasses for the guests on the chairs, who in reality were Yoongi and..... Jungkook.

The raven haired was dressed in a striking dark green Armani suit, which complitmented his raw masculinity that displayed in every breath he took. His eyes seemed to be more darker than usual because of the suit color that he choosed to wear. Those deep orbs seemed to hold every bit of the darkness that the nights unfolded over the world.

The blazing facial features of Jungkook's seemed to make the already expensive suit look more untouchable. His sultry lips were sipping a dark golden liquid from a glass, held by a calloused yet soft and veiny hand decorated by a lavish watch.

Oh lord. Thats a walking dream.

" The popularly in demand 'V' is here guys. " Seokjin exclaimed, a smirk adorning his face as he made way for Taehyung, who internally jerked from being pulled out from his trance once again. The name used for addressing him seemed to tug his heart like a core memory being reopened from a chest he locked away unwillingly.

Before he was able to say anything, he saw Jungkook whipping his head around like a bunny and abruptly standing up, almost knocking over the chair and earning a bored look from Yoongi.

The hot Mafia daddy persona vanished in a matter of seconds, leaving a shy cute bunny without a vocabulary.

" Hi- " Before Jungkook was able to start his three part essay on Taehyung's unmatched beauty, a squealing Hoseok jumped up from behind the bar and lunged forward hugging the life out of the brown haired male.

Taehyung and Hoseok giggled as they stumbled on their steps while holding each other snuggly. " Hi my cute baby! " Hoseok exclaimed, his hands cupping Taehyung's face and squishing it in between his palms.

On the other side, Jungkook groaned loudly, not even hiding his disapproval with the turn of events. He looked at Namjoon exasperatedly, only to recive a shrug and a teasing smile. The raven haired now turned to Seokjin, who was already looking at him with a frivolous gaze.
