"Honey! I'm home." I yell as I walk though the front door. I walk around the corner and see my beautiful wife, Cassie, sitting at the dinning table already. I walked in and looked at her.
" Nice to see you darling." She smiled at me, her teeth sparking white and her dimples on display. I smiled back and looked on the table and saw lasagna sitting in the middle of the table. I took a seat across from Cassie and scooped out a section of lasagna and put it on my plate. I looked into my wife's eyes and smiled. Then I dug into my food making small talk in between bites."When I came home I saw clothes all over your room," I stated when I was done eating my amazing dinner. Cassie looked up at me and nodded as a smile danced on her lips. She got up and walked up the stairs to go fix the room. I stood up after a couple of minutes and grabbed mine and Cassie's dishes. I put them in the dishwasher and cleaned up the table. I looked towards the stairs.
"How long does it take to put away clothes?" I thought to myself as I dried my hands on a dish towel. I looked towards the stairs and decided to see what she was up to. As I climbed the stairs I didn't hear and movement or shuffling feet. When I reached the top I saw light coming up from under our room and a quiet voice, also a whisper but it was to clear. I slowly crept my way to the door the voice getting louder.
"Yes, Hello? Its a guy in my house he-he says he is my husband, but mine died 2 years ago" I hear a slight whisper. I push the door open a little and see Cassie standing up with her back towards me and a cell phone pressed against her ear.
"My-My address is 558 fredrick-" She turned around and took the chance and pushed the door open I pushed her down on the bed and threw the phone across the room. I grabbed the nearest pillow and shoved it in Cassie's screaming face. Her hand whaled around, nails digging into my flesh but I kept the pressure on the pillow.
Soon her arms became relax and her struggling decreased. I held the pillow on her face for a couple of minutes to make sure she was clearly dead. I took the pillow off and saw her once neatly brushed hair, a wild mess. And her once pretty makeup, smeared and smudged I sighed and took the pillow case off putting it on Cassie's head. I rolled her on the bed and wrapped the top sheet of the bed around her body.
I looked around the room and found a door to the right of the bed. I walked over and opened it. Just as I suspected, the bath room. I left the room and walked over to the body on the bed. I lifted it up and set it in the bathroom tub. I walked out and shut the door. I left the room and walked down the stairs. I looked around the dinning room and walked in the kitchen.
"Try, try again." I sighed as I turned out the lights and walked out the front door. Another day, another wife.
