Hello nonexistent fans! I'm back! Didja miss me?

Meh, probably not.

Anyway, I'm really excited for this story. I have big plans, and I think I've improved since Won My Heart, which was going to be once big cheesy bowl of cliche.

Anyway, some of you may have, though probably not, read the first chapter of this book on onedirectionfanfiction dot com or net or something. Relax, it's me. This chapter isn't the exact same as that one, though it is similar. I had just written that on the computer, and this is on my iPod. I couldn't be arsed to copy it.

So, here goes! Let me know what you think.

I'm going to do song of the chapter. The song for this one is Say You Like Me by We The Kings, for obvious reasons you'll find out. Idk bro, I'm just addicted to that song.

ANYWAYS. HERE YA GO GUYS

Bustling bustling bustling

Crazy crazy crazy

Busy busy busy

Nervous nervous nervous

"NATALIE!!!!!" I screech, my little sister scrambling around the corner.

"What Lyss?" she sighs, clearly stressed.

"Does my hair look okay? Is my outfit good? Do you like my song? IM FREAKING OUT NAT IM FREAKING THE HELL OUT!!!!!"

She puts a hand on my shoulder. "Alyssa, come on. You're an amazing singer and we both know it. You going to go out there and kick ass, you hear me? Now, go finish your warm ups, go go go!"

I should probably explain. See, my little sister, Natalie, is 13. I know, she seems so much older right?!?!? Anyway, she made this Dream Concert for her Girl Scout silver award project. It has a bunch of musicians who haven't made it yet. Oh, AND A FLACKING RECORD SCOUT. So, you can see why I'm freaking the hell out. Singing is my dream. Anyway, back to the craziness.

I nod and run off to my dressing room, standing in front of the floor length mirror. I take in my outfit. It's a beautiful sleeveless aquamarine slightly ruffly satin dress that ends just above my knee. I pair it with some baby blue stilettos with delicate blue shimmers on the toe. My brown hair is up, sort of curly-wavy. I must say, the effect is stunning.

I snap out of it and start on my warm ups. Once I finish, I pace around the room a bit, going over my lines in my head.

"I'm never going down, I'm never giving up..." I mumble, humming the familiar tune.

"ALYSSA! YOU'RE ON NEXT!"

I take a deep breath and follow the voice of the stage tech. I stand just off stage, right behind the imposing black curtain.

"You ready sis?"

I turn to smile at Nat. "As I'll ever be."

She grins and winks, mouthing "good luck" as the tech signals "3, 2, 1....."

And I'm onstage. I'm stunned for a moment, but I recover quickly. I smile big and walk to the microphone.

"Hello St. Louis!" I cheer, the audience responding.

God, this is exhilarating.

"Alright, I'm going to be singing "Say You Like Me by We The Kings!"" My announcement is punctuated with cheers.

I smile and get ready.

The music starts, and I sing.

"She's the girl that no one ever knows.
