HOLY MOTHER OF GOD WHAT IS THAT AWFUL NOISE.

Beep.

I groan and force my eyes open, blinking rapidly against the blinding light. "Hello?"

I suddenly see a pair of bright blue eyes in front of me and I jump, squinting to see better.

I realize who it is and grin. "NiNi!"

He grins back at me. "Lyssa! We were so worried, oh my god..."

I scrunch up my eyebrows. "What happened?"

He raises an eyebrow at me. "Car crash?"

It all comes back to me and suddenly the pain does too. I gasp at the intensity and look down, instantly nauseated.

There are shards of glass with blood and skin, and attempts at covering it up with bandage just peels off. It's gruesome.

Niall looks at me sympathetically and I take a deep breath, remembering something. "How's Avery?"

He freezes, his eyes clouding over. "She..." His voice cracks and my eyes widen.

"What?" I ask softly.

He shakes his head and snaps his eyes shut, tears seeping out. "Coma..." He chokes out and I gasp.

I look him right in the eyes. "We can't give up. Avery wouldn't want us to. She will survive this, and so will we all. It'll be okay Nialler."

He looks at me gratefully and I smile.

"Now... Out of curiosity, who did I hit?"

He smirks slightly. "That part's a bit amusing, actually..." I raise an eyebrow. "You hit Harry."

I look at him, dumbfounded. "Seriously...? Out of all the people...!" I find myself laughing at the ridiculousness of it all. "Is he okay?"

Niall nods. "Just a dent."

I nod, relieved. I didn't kill anybody. Probably. "Any others injured?"

He shakes his head and I sigh.

"Good."
