Song of the Chapter-Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen
As much as this song annoys me, it works for this chapter.
Note at the bottom.

"Oh oh oh-oh oh-oh!
So put your hands up!"
I groan, trying to shut out the alarm.
Wait a second.
That's my ringtone.
I sit up and rub my eyes with a sigh. I reach for my phone but end up knocking over a lamp, killing a horse, starting a tornado, and sending my phone into an alternate dimension.
Real smooth Lyss.
I ninja-leap across my room and just barely manage to answer in time.
"Hello?" I say, currently on my belly on the floor.
Don't question my awesomeness.
"Hey!" a familiar Irish accent plays through the phone speaker and I smile.
"Hey Ni! What's up?"
"The sky," he replies, a smirk evident in his voice.
I roll my eyes. "Okay. Yeah. But seriously. Why calling me at..." I glance at the clock, "SIX IN THE FUDGING MORNING?"
He just chuckles. "I have plans."
My eyes widen. "You do realize that you just sounded like some crazy stalker rapist, right?"
He snorts. "Maybe I am."
My eyes widen even more before we both burst out laughing.
"Anyway, be here in 30, yeah?"
"THIRTY MINUTES?!?!? DO YOU NOT REALIZE HOW LITTLE TIME THAT IS???? I HAVE TO SHOWER, AND DO MY HAIR, AND oh screw it, I'm coming over."
He laughs. "See ya soon."
I hit end call and pull on a pink off-the-shoulder shirt and some skinny jeans. I step in my tan TOMS and throw my hair up in a ponytail after brushing through it. Satisfied, I grab my stuff and head out the door, getting in my car.
It's not until ten minutes later that I realize I have no idea where I'm going.
I decide to pop into Starbucks and call Niall.
I order a caramel macchiato and dial Niall (THAT RHYMES) while I'm waiting.
"Hello?"
"I just realized I have no idea where your house is."
I hear laughs in the other line and I pout. "Right. Forgot about that." He gives me the address and I put it in my phone.
"K. I'll see you guys soon!"
"Bye Lyss."
I hang up and go up to the counter, grabbing my coffee and tossing the money. "Keep the change," I nod, smiling at the lady behind the counter. She thanks me and I walk out, sipping the pure bliss that is Starbucks.
I drive.
Driving.
Driving.
More driving.
Turn left.
More driving.
Panicked u-turn.
More driving.
