He felt like the world was in his hands as he carried multiple bags to his car, with his daughter on his hip. He spent the day buying her everything she wanted,he didn't care if it was the most expensive thing in the store, he made sure she got it. He spent his day downtown, at King of Prussia mall, toys r us, any place he felt his daughter would love. Of course fans and paparazzi were everywhere, but he didn't care.
"Alright Lia, time to go back to mama" he said
He placed the bags in his trunk, then buckled her in. He drove back to Normani's, where she was waiting on her porch.
"Lia!!" She exclaimed running to his car
He finished parking then got out
"She was awesome today" he said
He took a sleeping Liamani out and handed her to her mother.
"Thank you, Liam" she smiled
"No need to thank me, I owed it to you both. Which is why I got you this" he pulled out a gold chain, with the letters 'NKH' sparked in swavorski diamonds
"Liam, I can't take this" she said
"No Mani, I want you to have it. This is the same exact necklace you wanted almost two years ago on our anniversary" he said
She hesitated but let him put it ok her
"Thank you, Li" she said
"It's no problem" he said
He opened up his trunk and grabbed half of the bags.
"Liam, tell me that you did not buy all of this for her" she said
"I did, but I will take some stuff to my townhouse for when she comes over" he said
She nodded and they went inside. She went and placed Liamani in some pajamas and laid her down. Liam followed her and placed the bags down quietly, giving Lia a kiss before leaving her room. He went down to Normani, whom was in the kitchen.
"Ahh, see your making your famous Mani Kordei soup" he said
"Want some?" She asked
"Of course" he smiled
He took a seat at her table, as she brought over two bowls.
"Here ya go" said as she set the bowl in front of him
The two sat in piece as they ate the soup. Once they both were done they put their dishes in the sink.
"So how have been lately?"
He asked as he stood in front of her
She was sitting on her counter
"I've been fine, you?" She asked.
"I've been good, even better now that I've met my daughter" he said
She smiled at him
"I'm actually happy you did, even though I didn't care if she grew up without a father, I still would've wanted her to have one" she said
"Well thank you, thank you for not being stubborn and not letting me in her life. I promise to be there for everything" he said
She nodded
"Thank you too, sir. If it weren't for you touching me that night at the skating rink, she wouldn't be here" she smiled
"I did not touch you, I gracefully put my hand between your thigh for warmth, but I got something way better" he smirked
"Oh gosh, remember our first time?" She asked with laughter pouring out
"Oh yes, I was on my last stroke when your dad opened the door and damn near killed me, while I was naked" he laughed
