"Okay, I'll ask again....are we actually doing this?" Jimin muttered, arms crossed as he glanced between the others. He was excited, yet a bit nervous now. "Because after reading the rules, I kinda feel like we're signing our own death certificates."

Rosé, sitting cross-legged on the floor, shrugged. "I mean, at this point, we've already dabbled in enough supernatural nonsense. What's one more potential life-ending game?"

"That is not a good reason to do this," Lisa deadpanned.

"Then what's stopping you from backing out?" Taehyung asked, eyebrow raised.

Lisa hesitated. "...Shut up." Jungkook sat on the couch, scrolling through the rules again. "So we each have to write our full names, prick our fingers, put a drop of blood on the paper, and place it in front of a wooden door." He looked up. "Does the front door count?"

"As long as it's wood, it works," Hazel said, tying her hair up. "But also, why are we willingly inviting a murderous entity into the house? I just feel like that's an unnecessary risk."

"It's only a risk if we mess up," Taehyung said, voice calm....too calm.

Hazel narrowed her eyes at him. "Why do you sound like you already know what's going to happen?"

Taehyung smirked, tilting his head slightly. "Because, Hazel, games like this? They're not about luck. They're about control." His voice was soft, but there was something in his gaze that sent a shiver down Hazel's spine...not fear, but something else. A feeling she couldn't quite name.

Jimin groaned. "Can we not have a villain monologue before we even start?"

Hazel shook off the strange feeling and nudged Taehyung playfully. "So what, you think you can outsmart a supernatural entity?"

Taehyung leaned in slightly, his voice dropping lower, just for her to hear. "I think... I know how to play the game better than most."

For a second, Hazel forgot how to breathe.

But before she could respond, Rosé clapped her hands. "Alright, geniuses, enough flirting. Let's get this over with before we chicken out."

Jungkook passed around the papers. "Everyone write their full name. First, middle, last. No shortcuts."

Hazel glanced down at her blank paper and hesitated for a moment before writing. Around her, the others did the same, the only sound being the scratching of pens.

The weight of what they were about to do settled in the air.

11:50 PM.

No turning back now.

11:55 PM.

The house was eerily silent except for the occasional scratch of pen against paper. The air itself felt heavier, like the very walls knew what they were about to do. Jungkook tapped his pen against the table impatiently. "Anyone else feel like this is way more serious than the Ouija board?"

Lisa shot him a look. "Because it is."

Rosé exhaled, setting her paper aside. "We're literally inviting something into the house this time. This isn't just some board game where we ask spirits to come talk. This is us opening the door."

No one responded to that.

Instead, they moved on to the next step.

Hazel picked up a sewing needle from the small pile of supplies they'd gathered. She stared at it for a second before turning to Taehyung. "You ever done this before?"
