The Elevator Game ( Bangpink x Reader )

CHAPTER - 7

••• Third Person Omniscient •••

The room was filled with a deadly silence. These funny, easy-going and chill youngsters would never have expected something like this happening to them.

For the first time, they were scared when they are together. They were terrified, not for their individual self, but for each other.

Taehyung was the first one to leave out of his trance and notice a terrified Hazel. She was so scared that she was shaking. She didn't know what to do. She wanted this to be a bad nightmare and forget about it but the Ouija board in front of her would not let her. The sentence which she just wrote would not let her forget anything.

Taehyung cleared his throat loudly, making the others jump a little or scream. He almost laughed as the Yoongi, who's always the chill guy, even he jumped a little because of being scared.

Rosé took a deep breath and nodded at others. They started leading the planchette towards "Goodbye" again. And this time, it worked. No flicking of the remaining candles, no movement of planchette by itself, no coldness in the atmosphere. It seemed like the bad spirit according to them, also known to be the spirit of Laura Martin just left.

Even after they ended that session, there was complete silence. They were still processing everything that just happened.

Jisoo, who bought the Ouija board was regretting her decision. She breathed out shakily and said, "I'm so sorry everyone. It's my fault. I should not have bought this Ouija board. I didn't know something like this would happen. I just thought it'll be a fun game and we'll talk to some good spirit but..."

Jin grabbed her hand softly, "It's okay Jisoo. You did not have any bad intention. We know it."

Jennie pulled Jisoo's cheeks, "None of us blame you Sooya." Lisa smiled a bit and said, "We know how much you care for us. It would be stupid of us if we blame you."

Jungkook hummed and continued, "And all of us agreed to play this game. So, if we are going to blame someone, it will be all of us."

Hoseok nodded, "And we all know that we will not go around blaming ourselves."

Jimin smiled cheekily, "Also, we are bulletproof so nothing would happen to us!"

Rosé frowned, "You should say we are spiritproof in this case."

Namjoon looked at Rosé, "There is no such word. And bulletproof indicates how nothing can harm us. And spirits are included in that."

Yoongi rolled his eyes, "Why are we talking about that now? Let's just wrap up everything and sleep."

Taehyung, who was busy watching Hazel, said, "I think we have to talk about something else before we sleep."

That brought everyone's attention towards Taehyung and then Hazel, who was lost in her own world. She was not aware of any conversations going on around her. She was not even aware how everyone was watching her. She finally go out of her trance when Yoongi put his hand on her shoulder gently, making her flinch but aware of everyone's eyes on her.

Yoongi glanced at the others and looked back at Hazel, "What happened, Eli? Are you okay?"

Hazel nodded slightly, "I'm fine. It's just, the last statement that the spirit said. I'm scared, Yoon. What if she hurts us? We can't just play that game. It is very risky if we play it. We already know what happened to her and Elisa Lam too. We can't ju-"

"Now wait a damn minute. What are you going on about the last statement and playing the game?" Jennie asked the question which everyone wanted to.

Hazel blinked. They don't know. She thought and sighed, "Sorry, I was and still am so scared that I didn't even ask if you guys know the last thing she said before we said goodbye. Let me show you." She then passed the book towards Taehyung, whose eyes widen as he read the sentence.

Jungkook looked at him and let out a frustrated sigh, "I'll read it out loud." He snatched the book away from Taehyung, whose mouth was wide open as he was still trying to process what he just read.

Jungkook started reading,

"Do something that I did.
Play something that I played.
But do keep in mind,
to not to make the mistakes that I made.
I lost my life because of curiosity.
And now I'm trapped somewhere I don't know.
You will set me free if you want to live and be free."

And he dropped the book out of shock and confusion. Lisa blinked, "Was Laura some sort of writer? And that is not just one sentence. Hazy, how did you manage to write everything? Damn."

Everyone glared at her and yelled together, "Lisa!"

She looked away whistling, "Whoops."

First of all, I apologise for not updating. I've been so busy but then I realised, being an author, it is my responsibility to make my readers happy. I cannot just not update for so many days. I'll try to update more from now on.

Try to figure out any explain the sentence...*coughs* I mean the paragraph which Laura wrote before disappearing.
