Some things have to be done alone
But is it impossible to be alone together?
Sometimes you need to be alone to weather,
The storm, but the storm is sometimes a 2-person job
We weren't meant to do life alone,
So in times when you're by yourself,
What do you do?
I know I need fellowship,
Friends,
Love,
Peace,
Serenity,
A group.
What happens when all you have is the darkness that threatens to consume you?
Do you give in because it provides fake comfort?
If you do, the comfort will be gone as fast as it came,
But is a sliver of comfort better than none at all?
If I feel like I'm drowning but I don't want to fight anymore,
Am I actually drowning?
Or have I became friends with the dance with darkness?
Isolation is such a dangerous thing
The darkness that threatens to consume,
Will be worse than the things you're going through.
It will be hard,
Tough,
Sad,
Overwhelming,
Heartbreaking,
Lonely.
But if it's still hard, it's not over.
You're never really alone
As long as Jesus sits on the throne
So hold on just a little while longer,
I promise in due time you will prosper
