Luna McKelly and Ashton Kutcher hurriedly searched through the wide area filled with towering pines, their eyes scanning every corner. The chilly breeze carried the scent of damp earth, making the atmosphere tense. The leaves crunched beneath their feet as they moved cautiously.
Meanwhile, deeper in the wooded area, Maxim Collin and Maxwell Collin continued their brutal fight. Maxwell struggled in Maxim's grip, finally breaking free with a forceful elbow to Maxim's ribs. Maxim staggered back but quickly regained his balance.
"You always thought you were better than me, Maxim," Maxwell sneered, wiping blood from his lip.
"The person who is good is the one who will win, no matter what . Remember that. You can still change, Maxwell... I know there's good in your heart-you're just hiding it."
Maxwell's eyes flickered for a moment, as if those words touched something buried deep within him. But the bitterness in his heart quickly returned.
Maxwell lunged forward, throwing a punch. Maxim dodged, countering with a blow to Maxwell's jaw. Maxwell stumbled, but his rage pushed him forward. The two men grappled, rolling across the cold ground as pine needles crunched beneath them.
Nearby, Luna heard the faint sounds of the scuffle. "Did you hear that?" she asked Ashton, narrowing her eyes toward the sound.
Ashton nodded. "It's coming from that way."
They quietly made their way through the thick brush.
Back in the clearing, Maxwell managed to grab a rock, swinging it toward Maxim's head. Maxim ducked just in time, delivering a hard punch to Maxwell's stomach. Maxwell fell to his knees, gasping for air.
"It's over, Maxwell," Maxim said between breaths.
Maxwell's eyes flicked toward a small hunting knife hidden in his boot. He reached for it slowly, but before he could grasp it, Maxim kicked it away.
"You really never learn," Maxim muttered.
Luna McKelly and Ashton Kutcher rushed through the thick pine trees, their hearts pounding as they spotted Maxim Collin locked in a brutal fistfight with Maxwell Collin. The cold air filled with the sound of fists connecting and heavy breaths.
Maxwell threw a punch aimed at Maxim's jaw, but Maxim quickly dodged, his reflexes sharp. With swift precision, Maxim kicked Maxwell in the side, causing him to stumble. Maxwell gritted his teeth, refusing to fall.
Maxim's gaze remained steady. "Justice always wins... no matter how long it takes."
Luna saw the danger unfolding and without hesitation, she raised her weapon, aiming carefully. She fired, the bullet hitting Maxwell in the shoulder. Maxwell cried out, falling onto the wet, grassy ground, clutching his bleeding shoulder.
Maxim didn't waste a second. He hurriedly pulled out his handcuffs, locking Maxwell's wrists behind his back.
Breathing heavily, Maxim looked at Luna, gratitude shining in his eyes. "Thank you, Luna."
Luna smiled softly, lowering her weapon. "I was just doing my job... just like you."
The sound of police sirens echoed through the trees as backup officers approached. One officer patted Maxim on the shoulder. "Good work, Detective Collin. Justice is served."
Another officer grabbed Maxwell by the arms, pulling him to his feet. "You're under arrest, Maxwell Collin. You're coming with us."
Darnell Sherwood approached with a smile, his eyes reflecting relief. "You did it, Maxim. The case is closed."
