📌 History. The Nashville Police Department was formed in 1806. The department became the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department in 1963, when the city of Nashville and Davidson County consolidated into a single city-county government.

Bridgestone Tower

This is the place where Jersey Nickerton works as a secretary

📌Bridgestone's Move to Nashville:
Bridgestone Americas, a subsidiary of the global tire and rubber manufacturer Bridgestone, established its presence in Nashville in 1992, following the company's merger with Firestone Tire & Rubber Company.

Bridgestone Tower's Construction:
Construction of the Bridgestone Tower, located at 200 4th Avenue South, began in early 2015 and was completed in 2017.

Consolidation of Business Units:
The tower became the new headquarters for Bridgestone Americas, consolidating many of its business units into a single location, housing nearly 2,000 employees.

Location and Design:
The tower is nestled between the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, and is only a few hundred feet from Bridgestone's namesake NHL facility, Bridgestone Arena. Perkins&Will designed the building, and Highwoods Properties developed it.
Sustainability and LEED Certification:
In 2018, the Bridgestone Tower received LEED® Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

Economic Impact:
The move to downtown Nashville is one of the largest relocations to a city center from the suburbs in the U.S.
Bridgestone Arena:
Bridgestone Arena, the NHL facility, is also a significant part of the Bridgestone story in Nashville, with the NHL's Nashville Predators being the primary tenants since 1998.
