"In a zombie-filled world, he only thought of one man: strong, handsome, and cold. Sadly, that man barely knew him.
But they were drawn to each other, even in this second life after he'd gone back in time. It was more than just a love story in the a...
The next morning, Yang Yifei awoke with a throbbing headache, a familiar ache that had become a constant companion since his meeting with Ling Song. The dreams, or whatever they were, continued to plague him, fragmented memories of soft laughter, muffled moans, choked sobs, and angry shouts swirling together in a confusing, unsettling mess.
He dragged himself out of bed and into the shower, the hot water doing little to soothe the tension that had settled in his muscles. After dressing, he found a neatly folded tuxedo laid out on his bed, accompanied by a note from a maid: "Mr. Ling Song requests you wear this for the event."

With a sigh, he donned the formal attire, the crisp fabric feeling strangely out of place in the post-apocalyptic world. He made his way downstairs, where a maid awaited him, her expression polite and efficient. She gestured for him to follow, leading him through a series of corridors and into a large, ornately decorated room.
The room was abuzz with activity, filled with people dressed in their finest attire. Yang Yifei recognized several familiar faces: Chen Xu, Wu Dong, Devon and Sun Xuejian.

"Good morning, Yang Yifei, right?" He Kwok approached him, extending a hand. "I'm He Kwok. We were waiting for you for a brief meeting."
Yang Yifei nodded, accepting the handshake. He took an empty seat at the large table, observing the room as the others settled around him. Kwan Tao and Liu Han introduced themselves to him and Devon, since they were new faces.
"Now that everyone's here, we can begin." Chen Xu announced, standing up and distributing folders to everyone. "We've identified the guilds allied with the government: The Owls, Skull Hammers, and the Goblins." She clicked her tongue, a flicker of annoyance crossing her face. She omitted the fact that F.t.l was also part of this alliance, a detail she clearly intended to keep hidden. "Just the scum of the earth." she continued, "and in exchange, the government is providing them with food and ammunition."
"But why would they need to ally with guilds?" Devon asked, his brow furrowed in confusion. "I thought the government was against them."
"We believe they're seeking protection." Chen Xu explained, her gaze shifting towards Yang Yifei. "Your people has been...disrupting their operations, and our own efforts are effectively blocking their movements. Given your reputation as the strongest man in your past live, we propose you approach the government, offering them an alliance. This would allow us to monitor their activities closely and ascertain their true intentions."
