Ling Song slowly opened his eyes, feeling cold yet also as if he were floating. When he finally realized he was underwater, his eyes widened, and he looked around. He immediately noticed the giant jellyfish surrounding him. He recognized them as a lethal species, known for their powerful electric sting—one touch could be fatal. But since Ling Song had an affinity with electricity, he was mostly absorbing the stings, thanks to his tiny piercings. They were enough to slowly draw the electricity in. He then noticed he was inside a kind of aquarium...a tower aquarium.

He could see many people surrounding the aquarium, staring at him. Ling Song pulled the tube from his mask and swam to the bottom of the tower, finally facing the crowd just a few steps away from the glass. He recognized them and crossed his arms. They really had thrown him in the water.

He saw that little Liu Yan and He Kang had grown a bit, while the others looked the same. Had a year already passed? He hadn't even realized he'd fallen asleep.

The problem was...how to get out?

Wu Dong, realizing why their boss was staring at them, pointed upwards, indicating that was the only way.

Ling Song looked at him in disbelief. He saw that the tower was open at the top, but there were no stairs or ropes he could use to climb down.

Ling Song, his body buzzing with electricity, decided to use the immense power he felt within him once more to accelerate his movements. In a few seconds, he was at the top of the ten-meter tower. He removed his mask and looked down...did he have to jump? He'd just woken up and already had to do everything himself. He hadn't chosen these people to do everything for them, damn it.

But now, with a clear view, unobstructed by the jellyfish, he could finally see where he was...it was just as he'd imagined. Beautiful. Then he noticed all the people staring at him.

"A year, and they've already gathered all these people?" he mused. He slowly sat on the edge of the tower before jumping, not at all motivated to use his powers.

Zhou Feng stepped forward, taking a towel from Liu Huan and opening his arms to catch Ling Song.

"Good morning, young master." Chen Xu said, crossing her arms and smiling. "How was your rest?"

"Well...I didn't even feel it. Just a few seconds ago, I was at the beach," he replied as Liu Huan came up behind him to dry his hair with another towel. Zhou Feng placed him into a waiting chair, and he stretched his body.

"What am I, a monkey in a zoo? Why are all those people staring at me?" he asked, looking at Wu Dong.

Since no one else was speaking, most of the others could hear them.

"Well, we were going to let them meet their real boss! They already know what you look like, though. You've been in that tower since they arrived. They know you're the boss, but they've never seen you...awake...you know." Kwan Tao said, his eyes sparkling.
