•4 days after leaving Yang Yifei's base•

He was peeking inside the Hunter's base, watching the members discussing something that looked important. Unfortunately, Ling Song couldn't hear anything because someone had placed a spell to block the sounds coming from inside the room. But deducing from their faces and the papers and maps on the table, it looked like they were planning to do something reckless. Those were clearly maps of the military camps.

He wanted to see if they were worth his time to help, and from his first impression of them, they didn't look that bad. But he wasn't sure if he should help them with their plan.

Inside the room was the Hunter's boss. In his memory, he was a little bit older, but he never imagined that he could be a good-looking man right now.

Beside him was another person with red hair, much younger than him. He knew that Devon had a son who was captured to have experiments done on his body, turning him into a kind of human machine that just followed the orders of the government leaders. They used torture methods and broke his humanity. What a poor kid.

Apart from those, there were five other people in the room.
They all looked like they were having a harmonious conversation until one of the five members slammed his hands on the table and started shouting.

Ling Song couldn't hear anything, so he could only observe, but he already didn't like the eyes of that man. He was clearly glaring at the boss whenever no one was watching him.

So troublesome... why in each guild did he have to find an unpleasant person?

He turned around and leaned against the wall. "How can I present myself to them? Tell the truth or lie?" He scratched his head and clicked his tongue; being a kid was tough.
