Part 22 {Surprise!}

 They arrived at the apartment complex and walked up to the elevators. But the elevator was up to the sixth floor and Judy was not about to wait that goddamn thing to get down. She looked around for the emergency stairs and opened the heavy door with some difficulty. But once she was through she started going up the stairs fast. Very fast. Jungkook looked her running figure going up the stairs he was confused on why she didn't take the elevator that was there waiting. She must have not noticed that the second elevator was on their floor. He entered the elevator and of course he got to the twelfth floor with ease. He entered the dormitory.

"She took the emergency stairs. She is coming. Close the lights and sit low so we shout surprise." Jungkook said as he closed the lights while the members giggled and rushed over to him. They lowered and waited for her to start putting the key code. Silence for a few minutes...

 Cling, cling, cling, cling, cling, cling. The code was refused. She put the wrong code because she had been anxious. She tried again.

Cling, cling, cling, cling, cling, cling. She entered 

"Yoongi?!"  She stopped suddenly by the complete darkness. Suddenly the lights opened and:

"SURPRISE! HAPPY NAME DAY JUDY!" They said in unison. Judy jumped back in surprise. The realisation hit her. It was her name day and they were surprising her. She had gotten some calls from some people wishing her happy name day but she hadn't told the members because she didn't want them to do anything for her. 

"Guys!" Judy smiled while trying to hold back her tears. "You didn't have to. A simple happy name day would have been enough." She came up to them and started to hug every member individually. Thankful for them she couldn't hold back her tears. She wasn't accustomed to people carrying more about her name day. No one had gotten to such extend to prepare her a small party for her name day other than them. 

"We did have to do this. We didn't do anything about your birthday." Hoseok answered back.

"We did go out once you found out that I had my birthday." Judy retorted. 

"Oh wow I am sorry we did so much about you." Jin answered in a mocking way.

"You couldn't do much anyway." When she reached Jungkook she punched him on the chest. "You almost gave me a heart attack from the worry! You idiot." She finally hugged his laughing form. 

"I am sorry." He answered while laughing a bit.

"Yeah I bet you are." Judy mumbled. 

 After a while Yoongi came up to Jungkook. 

"I have a question." Yoongi said trying to act nonchalantly.

"What is it?" 

"Why did she enter the dorm shouting my name? What did you say to her?"

"I said to her that you had fallen off the scooter and that you had hurt your shoulder." 

"She knows about my shoulder injury?" 

"I don't think that she knows what happened. I think she was just worried because you hurt your shoulder not because she knows about what happened that day." Jungkook calmed down his nerves.

"I see." 

"I still think you should talk to her about it. I mean you are close. And I know that you don't like talking about it but she will appreciate you for opening up to her. Then you can stop wondering why she is not opening up to you." 

"She told you why she is not opening up to me?" Yoongi asked with curiosity visible in voice.

"No she didn't. But she opened up to me today right after I opened up to her. She needs a small step from the other person in order to be more comfortable. She is not going to open up to you just like that." 

"When did you become so wise?" Yoongi joked.

"Since I started looking up to you." Jungkook answered and went up to Judy who was trying to hit the piñata laughing at her weak hits.

Meanwhile Yoongi sat there thinking about Jungkook's words. She was the type of person who didn't want to burden others with either her thoughts or bad experiences. He thought about it for a bit and then joined them to the party.
