You're not scared of the dark,

The place is the same as it was before the light went out,

You can still lay on the floor and look up,

Its just like when you're sleeping, when you're dreaming, when you're out,

You're scared of a faint light,

Its red or white, and it glows until you have it in your sight,

That's when you feel your heart rate rise,

And your mind makes up assurances and lies,

You wonder who's holding the source of light,

Is he dangerous? Hungry? Does he bite?

So you bolt, and run into the night,

For you're not scared of the dark,

You're scared of whoever's there, that can hurt you from the back.
