After they figured out about my past before and after meating Dad, they put me in a cell. It had a bed, desk, and chair, but that was it. Lord Death let me borrow books for reading, and I got three meals a day. The food was great too! It was much better then what I once had to live on. Sadly, it wasn't Dad's cooking. It wasn't a homemade meal.
Not to long after being put in here, Lord Death killed my father and stripped him of his skin just so his body could be put in it and then sealed away. The whole time it happened I yelled in agony 'cause all pain was unbearable. Tears streamed down my pale, pink cheeks.
The next day when Death came to check on my he saw that I hadn't slept all night, and that I was still getting used to the horrible pain I continued to feel.
"Blake what's wrong?" he asked.
"Why did you do that to Daddy?" I managed to ask.
"Blake he was trying to take over and make the world full of madness," he explained. "How did you know?" He asked with curiosity.
"This wouldn't have happened if you wouldn't have taken me away. And also, to answer your question, I am able to feel every bit of pain he feels. This started when I decided to force him into my spell so I'd be able to see how he's doing no matter where his was."
"Okay... and Blake I'm sorry, but it had to be done," he told me. "Please tell me why your in so much pain."
"Like I said I can feel everything that Daddy feels. Every single bit of it."
"So your were being tortured when I was taking care of Asura." Lord Death's voice is always so deep and scary. He seemed to be upset with his decision.
"Daddy! Daddy! Oh, there you are. I was looking for you," this boy that was my age came in yelling. "Daddy who's that?" he asked, pointing at me.
"Kiddo! Come on lets leave her alone," he said to the boy. His voice had just gone from scary to fun and cute.
He shut the door and took the boy away leaving me alone, again. After living with Father for so long I forgot how loneliness felt. Now I remember.
...
Eight years past of the same story. A year after my dad's death the DWMA was built. Lord Death doesn't visit me much anymore, but when he does we talk for awhile. I know your probably not suposed to like the person who killed yout father, but I couldn't help it. I have no friends, and usually no one talks to me, so why not? He doesn't use that scary voice with me anymore. It's calm, peaceful, loving and kinda. Just kinda, like how he spoke to that kid so long ago.
I sat there at my desk reading my favorite book. A fairytale of this princess or runs away from home. She becomes lost in a scary, dark forest. As she's crying and feeling all alone, a farmer boy finds her. He sits by her and talks to her like old friends. They become best friends and one day the royal carriage comes to his cottage looking for the princess. That's when he learned that she was the lost princess from the capital. They get separated for a few years but he finds her and takes her away to be wed to him. They if course live happily ever after.
"Heyo," Lord Death said as he entered my room.
"Hi," I said as I kept reading.
"Blake your always reading that book," he said peeking over my shoulder.
"It's my favorite," I told him.
"I know, I know. Now down to business." he put his big hands together. "The new school year is coming up, and I'm going to let you enroll," he said giving me a thumbs up.
"Really?" my eyes lit up.
"Yes! You will also be moving in with my son and live in my house. So no more dark cell for you!"
"I can go on the surface once again!" I'm so happy. "Wait is this because my father is actually dead this time?" I frowned knowing I was right.
"Well... Yes. You see, because your connected to him it could be quite dangerous if he learned to use that to his advantage by controlling you," he explained to me.
"Oh. Okay."
"School starts in a week. Kiddo is coming down her later with Liz and Patty so you all can go shopping for school," he said clapping his hands together.
"I'm so nervous, but I'm also just so excited! I'm not sure what this is supposed mean? What do I do!?"
"You'll be great don't worry," he said giving me another thumbs up as he left.
"Okay got to get ready." I looked around. All I have are books stacked up everywhere! "Time to organize," I told my self as I organized everything in althebetical order.
I finished just as Lord Death opened the door. I gave him a wide smile.
"Blake I brought them here," said Lord Death.
"Mhm," I nodded.
"Hi my names Death the Kid, this is Liz, and this is Patty." said the boy. He has black hair with three stripes going across his bangs. He didn't look as nice as Lord Death but the blonde girl did.
"Is nice to meet you all." Then I realized I never cleaned up myself. "Sorry I didn't clean myself up. I was so worried on how my room looked that I forgot how I looked." I stated with a goofy side smile.
"Do you like giraffes?" the blonde girl asked me getting a little to close to my face.
"They're beautiful animals," I told her.
"Yay! A new giraffe buddy!" she danced.
"Come on Patty," the brown haired girl said dragging Patty out of the room.
"We brought you something to wear," Death the Kid said laying an outfit perfectly on my bed.
"Oh you didn't have to do that," I said rubbing the back of my head. I felt bad. I didn't want them going through such troubles for a low life like me.
"So your names Blake?" he asked.
"Yeah."
"That's a boyish name for a girl." My eyes widened. That's what Dad said when he first met me.
"Yeah. My dad wanted a boy," I replied. Now that I think about it he remindes me a little of Father.
"I can't believe you're the Kishin's daughter. Your nothing like him," he said with a sour look.
"When he found me he took me in and raised me. Always telling me I was smart and beautiful. How one day I'd make the world happy and full of life. Father was so nice to me. He never abused me or sexually harassed me or injected black blood into me." I smiled lightly at the fond memories.
"You can't be talking about Kishin Asura," he said shocked.
"I am, Death the Kid."
"Just call me Kid," Kid told me.
"Okay."
"I should let you get changed." He told me. I'm pretty sure he just wanted a reason to leave.
"Oh, thank you," I said as he walked out shutting the door.
