He just gave his normal reaction to me. The face that showed that he didn't care.

"Asura put my student down," Stein said calmly.

"Stein. It's been along time," Asura said with a insane smile.

"Daddy!" I yelled at him. He looked at me in shock. He hasn't seen me in along time, and now instead of a young girl he sees a young woman.

"Blake is that you?" he asked in disbelief. He dropped Maka to the ground with a thud and just stared at me.

"Yes. It's me," I told him. He pulled me into his skinny, long arms tight.

"It's been so long since I've seen you."

"Same." I smiled at the thought of finally being reunited with my father, but it won't last. I promised him that if he'd ever be filled with madness I would be the one who'd finish him. I'm the only one who can.

Then Spirt and Lord Death came into the room. "Maka hunny! Don't worry daddy's here now!" Spirt pranced.

"I was fine till you showed up!" Maka snapped at him.

"Maka, why can't you just admit you love me!" he cried.

"Spirt!" Lord Death roared. Spirt than got very serious and transformed into a death syth. Lord Death held Spirt in his hand ready to attack Asura. "Asura! Why have you returned? I banished you!"

"Not even you can destory me!" Asura yelled letting go of me.

Oh no! His madness level is growing rapidly! "Lord Death please stop!" I begged.

"Blake! Stay out of the way! You could get hurt!" Death yelled at me.

"No I won't! I'm the only one eho can fix this! Stand down! Please!"

"What can you do?" Asura questioned. We all just stared at him. "I'm the one who raised you. I raised you to be stronger than me and the smartest I know."

"I know you did," I smiled. "Your the reason I'm so strong and can deal with problems so easily. Your the reason I was able to study hard for all these years. Even without being in a school. Dad, I want you to please controll yourself and become the man you always told me you wanted to be."

"How? I'm lost! I have nothing but insanity! For all I know is I could kill you without even knowing it!"

"But you won't! I'm your sanity! I'm the one who has kept even the tiniest speck of sanity inside you!" I cried.

"Blake," he said putting a hand on my shoulder. "I want you to finish me right now."

"What?"

"You heard me! Finish me now while you still can! I don't want to kill anyone! I don't want to fight you! I want you to live in peace!" he cried. By now Spirt had already transformed back into a human. He walked up to Dad and stuck a soothing hand on his shoulder. Dad looked at Spirt.

"Your lucky to have such a good and loyal daughter," Spirt told him. My fathers face calmed down and gave Spirt a big smile. Not a creepy one either. A smile that said he was glad. I hadn't seen that smile since I was a child. I couldn't help but smile myself.

"Thanks," Dad said. "So your daughter is Maka?"

"Yeah," Spirt sighed. "She doesn't love me like your daughter loves you."

"I can see that," Dad joked. Both men just laughed.

"Papa why are you acting buddy buddy with the Kishen?" Maka asked confused.

"What do you mean Maka?" Spirt asked back.

"I mean you two are acting like you've known each other forever!"

"Well, this is the first time we've actually talked to each other, but fathers understand each other well so it's only natural," Spirt explained giving Asura a knuckles.

"I love how you two are getting alone so well," I smiled at them.

"Blake you okay with this?" Maka said.

"Of course. Parents are parents. There's no where of changing that fact."

"Well I know but..." she trailed off.

"Asura?" Lord Death spoke.

"Yes?"

"How did you get back here?"

"I'm not sure actually," Dad said thinking.

"Then why aren't you dead?"

"Because unless Blake kills me then I can't die by anothers hand," Dad explained.

"And why's that?" Lord Death questioned.

"Because we're linked to one another. She takes a lot of the blow when I'm getting hurt, like when Maka "killed" me. Blake took a lot of the pain so I won't be killed."

"Blake is this true?" Lord Death asked me.

"Yes. It's the same the other way around. If I'm hurt then Asura would get most of the blow," I explained.

"So either you have to kill the Kishen or he has to kill you your else both of you can't die by another persons hand?" Maka asked.

"That's correct," Stein spoke in.

"How do you know about this?" Lord Death asked.

"I'm a professor and a docter for a reason," Stein said pushing his glasses up. "Blake? How'd you get this information?"

"Well, when I was younger and was living with Dad, I went to this school in a town not to far from the cave. In the library I had found this really interesting book so I checked it out and took it home. It talked about how it's possible to link to people together. I followed the steps and did it to my father so I'd always know how he was feeling and how his sanity was doing. The only side effect was that everytime I got hurt so would he and the other way around," I explained. I slung my head remembering the past, wishing I could back to when it was just the two of us.

"Did you keep the book?"

"No I returned it. I was a very good student who followed the rules and got good grades."

"So it was burned in the town fire?"

"That's right."

"School dismissed!" I heard Lord Death cheer as all the students ran out of the building leaving Lord Death, Sprit, Stein, Maka, Soul, Tsubaki, Black Star, Kid, Liz, Patty, and me behind.
