aaliyah pov

i press my hand against billie's forehead and it's still very hot. she's had a fever ever since she woke up aligned with a sore throat.

"do you need more tea?" i ask her

"yes please" she say before pulling the blanket tighter to her. she's also experiencing cold chills.

"i'll be right back" i say before grabbing the mug and heading downstairs.

i pour some more hot water into the cup and put the tea bag in. i wait until the tea is done before grabbing the honey and putting some in.

i stir it up before heading upstairs. i pass it to her and give her a kiss on the cheek. "i'm going to make you soup for dinner"

"thank you, i love you" she tells me before sipping the tea

"i love you more" i tell her before leaving out the room so she can rest.

i walk to amari's room and the twins are currently fighting him.

"mommy help me!" he say

"elijah and aria get off amari!" i say scolding them

they both immediately get off him and run out. i swear those two are trouble when they work together.

"amari, you do your school work?" i ask him

"yes, it's in my book bag" he tells me and i go to his book bag and grab it. i see his work completed and correct before putting it back in his book bag and leaving out.

i head downstairs and the first thing i hear is "mom!" from kourtney

"yes?"

"i leave today remember" she smiles "im leaving in five minutes to go pick up mila"

"good, and i want you to be safe. if people walk to you wanting to speak, walk the opposite way. i don't want anything happening to you."

"i will, plus i don't think anyone will approach me. i don't make myself seem approachable"

"but you know it's always that one person..."

"ugh" she groans painfully "also mila almost wasn't able to go on this trip. her mom said she couldn't go yesterday cause mila accidentally ordered 100 bags of doritos"

"if it was an accident her mom shouldn't have been punishing her to not go on the trip, like it was an accident" i say "but how does one accidentally order 100 bags of chips?"

"for real, but it's whatever at least she's going" she shrugs "i don't know"

"how's the situation with you and kyle? we haven't spoken about it every since that night" i ask her

"i've been ignoring him. i barely answer his texts and when i do it's one worded responses. when i see him walking towards me in the hallway i go the other way" she say

"kourtney, he's still your boyfriend. you're going to have to talk to him sooner or later"

"i know and i will. just not right now" she say

"okay then" i say

kourtney pov

i head upstairs and say bye to my mom and siblings before leaving to go to mila's house.

"IM SO EXCITEDDD" she say throwing her stuff in the backseat

i drive to the airport and we go through security and everything before soon we have to board the plane.

as soon as i sat down, i fell asleep. i wake up to mila shaking me. "mila what?"

"bitch we're here! get up"
