mila and i are in class listening to the teacher when all of a sudden the door opens and three police officers walk in.
what is going onnnnnnn
"we're looking for a kourtney o'connell" one of them say
i didn't even do shit....
"yes?" i say
"we have a warrant for your arrest" he say walking towards me
arrest for what exactly? i didn't even do anything.
"no, wrong person" i say shaking my head
"you are now under arrest for murder" he tells me before making me stand up.
he says the rights thing or whatever while i'm getting handcuffed. this is so embarrassing. i didn't do shit.
"where are you taking her?! she didn't do it" mila say
"where do you think?" he replied back being sassy with it
the hallway is filled with people watching the scene unfold as they escort me out of the building.
i get into the backseat of a police car and reporters take pictures of every move. i shake my head knowing i'm in deep shit.
when we enter the police station, they lead me to a room that has a mirror that's obviously not JUST a mirror before leaving out.
i'm scared, i need my moms. a woman walks in and says "your parents have been informed" before sitting down across from me.
"i'm not speaking to you until my mom gets me a lawyer so don't ask me shit" i say
soon the door busts open showing my moms and a lady i've never seen. the detective leaves out the room.
"i didn't do anything i swear" i say immediately
"we know. we were all sleep at the time" my mom say
"we're going to get you out of this kourtney, i swear. they couldn't find a real suspect so of course they had to blame it on you" my cooler mom say
"okay kourtney, i'm pretty sure i can take your moms word considering ive been her lawyer for quite time but i'll need the answers to these questions from you directly" the woman states "i'm ashlyn and i'll definitely get you out of this"
"okay" i say
"where were you the night emma got murdered?" she asks me
"sleep" i say
"what time did you go to sleep?"
"9pm" i tell her
"okay, what was your relationship with emma before her death?"
"i mean...i didn't like her and she didn't like me"
"why?"
"the shit she's done to me and continued to do to me."
