<one week later>
•Aprils POV•
I wake up to a smiling Chloe beside me. "What are you doing here?" I ask
"Get ready. The party starts in an hour."she replied. I totally forgot today is Chloe's eighteenth birthday. I call Paul to see if he's coming. "Hello?" He asks "hey potato boy, are you coming to Chloe's party?" I ask "of course wouldn't miss it for the world. Are you going to look beautiful like always?" He asked. "Oh my gosh stop it Paul. You're way too cheesy." I reply with a smile glued to my face although he can't see it. "Sorry... Well I gotta go get dressed I'll pick you up in 45 minutes. Kay?" "Yeah" I hang up.
This boy is too cute.
I take a quick shower and put my hair in a sock bun. I put my make up on and I do a natural smokey eye with a little wing. I put on my dress that Chloe picked out at the mall. It's really cute. It's a navy blue dress with a lace neck. I finish getting ready and go downstairs to wait for Paul. Little did I know that he was already here. "Wow April, you look beautiful." He says. "Thanks" I replied giving him a small smile.

We arrive at the party and I see Chloe. She looks so pretty in her black dress that I picked out for her.
Her hair is curled to perfection and she has a galaxy bow in her hair. Her make up in on point. She's always been good at cosmetics.

Paul and I walk up to her, give her the gifts, and a hug. I go get outer drinks and I see EJ here with his new girlfriend. He's with all his friends and has my Ex- Bestfriend under his arm. I finish pouring mine and Paul's drinks and walk back to him. I see Paul standing by Chloe and the guy she met at Hot Topic. Paul looks so adorable in his little dress pants and a bow tie. I walk over to them and Chloe introduces me to the guy. "April, meet Danny. Danny, meet April." Chloe says. "Hi April. Nice to meet you." He says shaking my hand. "Um... Hi. Nice to meet you too. um have you met Paul?" I turn to look at Paul. Paul and Danny both start laughing. Did I say something wrong? Does my breath smell? What happened? What did I do?
"Yeah. We're actually best friends." Paul says. He chuckles. "Oh." I say out of embarrassment. Paul puts his arm around my waist and gives me a hug to make me feel better. Wow Paul and I have gotten really close lately. I feel like I've know him for years.

The party is now over and I realized that I was talking to Paul the entire night. I ask Paul to take me home and he nods. We get in the car and he turns up the radio. "Uptown Funk" was playing. He starts dancing and lip syncing to me. I laugh hysterically. He just looks at me and smiles "what?" I ask him. he chuckles "nothing."

•Paul's POV•
Wow this girl is so beautiful and she doesn't see it. I feel bad for all the pain she has been through having her parents being divorced and her boyfriend cheating on her. I wish I could take away all her hurt. I play the radio and try my best to make her feel better. She's laughing right now so I guess it working. We arrive at her house and I run around the car to open her door. She thanks me and gives me a hug. She smells so good. Wow that was weird. I walk her to her door and tell her goodnight.

After not that long of a drive I get home. Danny texts me
"Sup Pol✌️"
"Nun just got home"
"So what's up with u & April?😉"
"Nothing bro were just friends"
"Sure👌 I see the way u look at her😉😈"
"Okay fine I like her but she doesn't feel the same way"
"Never know man"
"I gtg I'm gonna take a shower🚿✌️"
"✌️"
I lock my phone and hop in the shower.
I get out of the shower and put on my Nutella Pj's.
I then lay my head down on my soft pillow as I feel myself go to sleep really fast.
