My mind is racing.
What could this be about? I hope it's nothing bad...
I raced out of Sugercube Corners so fast I didn't even give the girls enough time to process what just happened. I have to get my crown from the castle just incase it was official princess business.
"Um Twilight?" Spike spoke after being so quiet.
"Yes Spike. What is it?"
"Um well your friends are here and I know you have to leave but I...."
Before Spike could finish what he was saying the girls bursted into the room

"What's going on darling." Rarity was the first one to speak and I could tell by the look on Spikes face that he couldn't tell them no and if he did Rarity just had to bat her eyelashes and he would let her in.
"Yeah Twilight, is there some kind of evil guy we get to kick around" Rainbow Dash then spoke with more enthusiasm as she thought of kicking some guys butt.
"Honestly I don't know." I let my head fall slightly as I try to find my crown.
"Should we go with you...um only if you want us to that is."

I turned to face my friends as Fluttershy finished speaking.
"No at least not yet. I'm going to the Crystal Empire and Spike will come with me. Once I know what's going on I'll have him send you a letter or come in person to tell you what's going on." I take a deep breath as I see the worried looks on my friends faces "I'm sure it's nothing bad so don't worry to much. But I must go. The train is waiting for me." I walk closer to my friends and push any unpleasant looks I might be giving them away so I can smile at them and maybe make them feel a little more at ease. "Don't worry." I said as I patted Applejacks shoulder and smile at them
"OKIE DOKIE LOKIE!" Pinkie Pie beamed a smile at me which helped the others relax more.
"Okay Twi. We will be waiting."
I nodded at them as I left them in the castle and rushed to the train.

Aboard the train I can't help but feel like something is horribly wrong. Spike sat next to me looking from me to his claws that he had linked together on his lap. I could tell he was worried and there was nothing I could really do to put his mind at ease. No matter how hard I try I can't help but feel scared. Maybe it was because of my nightmare maybe it was because of all the danger I have been in whose to say but if I can't get this feeling under control I will never be able to help Spike calm down.

I put my hoof around Spikes shoulder and gave him a hug.
"It's ok Spike. There is no need to be worried."
I rested my head on his as I spoke.
"Hmmm?" He replied to me with a questioning look on his face
"You looked rather worried since we got on the train."
"Oh yeah..I'm not worried about this. It's just you just got home and I'm worried about you. I know how you have a tendency of over doing it and I don't want to see you all frazzled."
I couldn't help but let a small giggle escape my mouth.
"Oh Spike" I hugged him even tighter. Knowing he was just worried about me over doing it was a relief.

The train finally stopped.
"Well we're here." Spike said while jumping off the seat and starting for the door.
Once off the train I saw the royal guard waiting for me at the station. They bowed to me and walked beside me on our way to the castle. I found it a little odd that the guard was there since they are normally never waiting for me at the station. We walked in the dark of night and I couldn't help but me mesmerized at the crystal clear sky. The stars where dancing around like diamonds and you could see an aurora dancing with the starts. The moon was also out today. A vibrant full moon that just made the night sky look even more spectacular.

I stopped as soon as I was in front of the castle that laid in the middle of the Crystal Empire. I took a deep breath and walked inside
