I got home around 11:30am and was in my library shortly after that. Looking up at the sun it was now 3:30pm. I got done more than I expected but there was very little to distract me. "Since I got so much down I will get a nap in before the party." I said out loud while yawning. "I'll put these away later." I got up and started making my way to my room.

Finally I thought to myself as I plopped on the bed. It only took seconds for my mind to slip into dream land...

Again I was met with the same brightness as before only it didn't seem to last as long. Again I was in an open field with green grass and a clear blue sky and he was there. I was about 3 feet from him when he finally turned around to face me.
"Twilight" he said with a smile across his face. All I could do was smile back "you look beautiful." He walked up so he was only about a foot away and knelt down.
"Twilight, it's been so log since I've seen you. When are you coming back to me?" His eyes shined with a neediness.
"...." I opened my mouth but nothing came out. I cleared my throat and tried again "I don't know Flash, it's hard to say. I have my royal duties here in Equestria." After saying that I had to look away from the sadness I saw flash across his face.
"Twilight.." The sadness in his voice made me look down "...you don't have to worry about it."
I felt something on my chin trying to lift my head up. I reluctantly let my head lift up so my eyes would be at his level.
"Flash this is so hard for me. I want to be with you but I can't leave here..I just..." But before I could finish what I was saying he interrupted me
"Look at me." He said it so sweet but also as a command that I had to obey. I opened my eyes and in front of me was no longer human Flash but pony Flash.
"I don't get it you were just human how did you..." I trailed off from what I was saying while I tried to figure things out in my head. I could hear him giggle and pull me from my thoughts
"Oh Twilight, you're so cute when your thinking." He nuzzled his head against mine and time stood still.

A few moments later he lifted his head from mine "Something's coming." He said while looking out into the distance. Looking up at him I could feel the concern emanating from his body. When I turned to look in the same direction I couldn't see anything
"What's coming?"
No response
"Flash what's coming?"
Still no response. I started to get scared
"Flash!"
Finally I got his attention and he looked down at me with fear in his eyes
"Twilight it's coming you need to go!"
"What's coming."
"Please go. I can't lose you. Run NOW!"

He stood up and used his body to guard me. I slowly got up and the once green grass was now brown and dead. The sky went from a beautiful sapphire blue to a dull gray. I could now see a black cloud coming towards us. Flash took one last look at me, his eyes pleading with me to run, and started towards the black cloud. Frozen in fear I watched him running towards whatever that black cloud was. I finally got the ability to move and I ran. I ran faster than I have ever run before. As much as I wanted to I couldn't look back to see how Flash was doing.

As I ran it started getting darker around me. I felt like I ran for days when I finally stopped and by then it was completely dark.
"Hello...is anyone there....hello"
"MWAHAHAHA"
"Who's there? Show yourself"
"Haha you really thought you could get away from me. You foolish little thing, and you left the ones you love behind. Now look at them"

The menacing voice scared me more than anything I have had to face before. I didn't know who or what it was but it was something very bad. I turned my head in the direction of a tiny light and there I was back in the field. No longer green and beautiful it was now gray and dead.

"Look" the voice said again while it cackled. I took two more steps and then I could see over the small hill. There it was Ponyville completely destroyed. There was no green or blue sky's as far as I could see. I gasped as my eyes made it to the bottom of the hill.

Bodies...everywhere.
