Granger to Riddle

I let loose a scream of anguish as spasms of pain rack my body. Draco comes at once. My baby is coming. I know it the second the pain awakens me. Draco scoops me up and races out of Hogwarts apparating the second we get out of Hogwart grounds.

  I vaguely sense us getting to St. Mungo's before everything goes black.

   I wake to blinding harsh lights. I blink seeing Draco next to me.

   "Kat!" He says. "We have a darling little girl" He places a tiny blanket wrapped bundle in my arms. I stare lovingly down at my daughter. My brown eyes matched with wisps of a dirty blonde hair. A color exactly in the middle of our hair colors.

  "Have you thought of a name?" Draco asks me. I shake my head. I need to wait until the perfect one hits me.

   "Kat, Draco we're just so proud of you two." I look up to see Dad and Narcissa come in.

   "Oh the great power this child will have. Between us three we will be unstoppable!" Dad says excitedly after shooing the pale trembling nurse out. Narcissa whacks him.

   "Oh she's darling. Have you named her? May I hold her?" Narcissa asks. I shake my head as I pass my daughter to her.

   "We'll think of one." Draco reassures her. Sassy bursts in them with her usual unstoppable mouth and Peter trailing along behind her.

    "OMIGOD! I'm so glad it's a girl!! Oh we need to go shopping!!!!! She's so adorable. I know I'm going to have a giant family. I love kids. I'd love to babysit whenever I can." Sassy says amazingly all in one breathe.

"I love kids too." Peter adds. I smile, they're so perfect for each other. She talks he listens.

I smile as I lean back into my pillows. Life is good. For now.
