"Kat. Kat! Kat!!!!" A voice yelled in my ear.
"What?!" I sat up and stared into the eyes of Sassy.
      "It's winter break!!!!!" She sang while dancing around my bed. I stood up, fully awake now. Winter. Break. No. More. School!!!!!!!!
    "Aaaand guess what, guess what, guess what!!!!!" Sassy cried bouncing up and down.
     "What?!" I asked.
      "You. Me. Scarlet. Draco. Peter." She said. "Trip. To. America!!!!!!!" She screamed grabbing my hands. I screamed. (Totally unlike me.) Grabbed Sassy's hands. (Also unlike me.) And started dancing with her. (Okay at this point, are we sure this is still me??)

"Are we there yet?" "No."

"Now?"
"No."

"Hey Kat are we there yet?"
"No."

"How about now!"
"No. Go back to sleep."

"Now!"
"Yes!!!" I leapt up, happy to be free of planes and are we there yetting friends. I grabbed my bags and followed Sassy off the plane into America!!! NYC, America to be specific.
We hail a cab and squeeze into it, and soon we're off to our hotel.
"Look look look!" Draco said dancing around giant penthouse suite in the most expensive hotel in NYC. When your the Dark Lord's daughter, money is never a problem.
"Ahh what to do first!" Sassy sighed stretched across a giant bed with 100 Things You Have To Do While You're In New York City. "We could go to a museum! Or go shopping. We NEED to go shopping."
"Shopping?" Peter said disgustedly.
"Hey, you know what? Peter, you and Draco take Scarlet to Central Park, while Sassy and I go shopping. Then we can all meet up for dinner." I said forming a compromise. Everyone agreed and we set off to tackle NYC!

Draco's POV: ( A/N please tell me if this is any good, trying his pov for the first time! And also it's always Kat's pov unless otherwise stated.)
  
      I grabbed Scarlet and slung her diaper bag over my shoulder  as I headed out the door with Peter. Playing mommy for the day wasn't what I exactly had in mind, when Kat had told me about this vacation, but it was way better than shopping.
    "Hey let's take Scarlet for a horse ride." Peter pointed the long line of buggies waiting for riders. I nodded and we payed the driver behind  of a pair of majestic brown mares. We settled in looking across the snowy Central Park, and listening to the clip clop of the horses hooves. Scarlet giggled happily as we passed a pair of swans lounging in a pond.
   Peter smiled as he bounced the giggling baby on his lap. "Happiest baby I've ever seen, considering who her father is." He commented. I nodded, determined for Scarlet to have the best possible childhood, despite my father in law.
Later, Kat's POV.
I stretched out on the queen size bed next to Draco.
   "Thanks for taking Scar for the day. Sassy and I had a wonderful day shopping." I said kissing and cuddling with Draco.
   "No problem there. I actually had a wonderful day too, Central Park is beautiful, this time of year." He murmured. I sighed sleepily, and put my head on his chest and drifted off into a paradise dreamland.

   "Ahhhhh!!" I woke up to someone screaming. I blinked a couple times and realized it was coming out my own throat. My Dark Mark was a fire, burning worse than I had ever felt before. Like my arm was inside a volcano from hell while it was erupting. 
    "We need go!!" I looked up and saw Draco, a bag in one hand Scarlet in the other.
   "How are you standing it so well???" I managed to yell out while writhing on the bed the pain getting worse and worse.
   Draco look confused. "It hurts yes, but not unmanageable. Normal, Dark Mark pain, you know to tell us to go back to Malfoy Manor." 
   "Normal?!!! It's like a freakin volcanic explosion from hell, getting worse EVERY SECOND!!!!!" I screech out. Draco starts panicking as I writhe and writhe more as the pain increases.
    "SASKIA!!! PETER! WE NEED TO LEAVE NOW!!!" Draco yells putting our bags and Scarlet into Peter's arms and scooping me up and running out. As we pass the front desk Draco grabs a big handful of American money hands it to the lady at the desk and runs out. The second we're outside we duck behind a tree and apparate to Malfoy Manor.
     Small cliffhanger! I'll try my hardest to update a new chapter before Christmas. Thx for reading!!!
