The man gasped and took a step back.
"You you knew my father?" He asked.
"First who are you? And how did I here?!" I demanded, not fully comprehending what he had just said.
"I saw you, get hit by that bus, this morning . The muggle doctors said there was no hope left for you, but see I'm trained Healer so I brought you back to my house. You should be up and about in a couple weeks." He said anxiously. Weeks? Weeks?!! I didn't have weeks to waste but sitting around in bed! I had to get home before the trial!
"What time is it?? I need to go!" I said frantically looking around, starting to get up.
"Nono don't get up you're not strong enough yet. Just relax. Why do have to leave? Who are you anyway?" The man asked pushing me back down.
"Who am I?! Who are you! And I really need to go, it's a matter of life or death!!" I cried started to get frantic. What if days had passed while was out? Weeks? Months. Harry and everyone could all be dead!
"Shhhh just relax. Now I am Thomas Albus Snape. Call me Tom. Who are you, where do you need to go and how did you know my father?!" Tom said his voice cracking with the last part. Thomas Albus. Snape's son. Named after Snape's two masters. Voldemort & Dumbledore. Yet Voldemort was first. Was he really first in Snape's life? His true master? Or just an amazing actor while he truly belonged to Dumbledore? My heart was stabbed as I realized that they were both dead. An unsolved mystery. I stared into Tom's eyes amazed by the similarity he had to his father.
"You're father taught me. At Hogwarts." I said quietly. "He was one of the bravest men I knew."
"He was the bravest man I ever knew." Tom said sitting down at the foot of my bed.
"So. Tom. I'm Katrina, and I really need to get to Malfoy Manor." I said standing up ignoring the fiery pain blooming in my chest.
I saw fear quickly flash into Tom's eyes but he said nothing as he stood up abs nodded.
"What will we doing there?" He asked.
"Rescue mission. But it's of utmost importance that were not seen, caught, recognized or anything like that. Oh and it has to look like the people we're rescuing did themselves." I say sharply.
"Piece of cake." Tom said with a hint of a smile. "Let's go." He said his smile disappearing as he took a deep breath and followed me out the door.
