I clutched my bloody arm. Bry's slight look of concern made me feel even worse. Why did I always have to make other people feel bad? I didn't try. I didn't want to. Especially her.
"What the hell happened?" Anne panicked as she dashed over and knelt down to my arm. She cut the sleeve off of my hoody and used it as a cloth as she kept pressure on the wound. Anne turned to look at me, her face was pale.
I said nothing. Everyone's eyes were on me. Including Violet and Hayden who had just ran into the cave with a worried facial expression. Well, not Hayden. Hayden is too inconsiderate and rude to understand my pain. I gave an icy look to Hayden. He looked aggravated. A slight pang of success hit me. Though the feeling of heat started to get me. I think I was losing too much blood, but I was unsure. My eyes began to grow heavy. I think Bry noticed and took action.
"Keep pressure on that, someone. We need to find a yarrow herb," she says swiftly. Bry grabs Violet's elbow and drags her along.
Anne turns to look at the two girls that fled the cave. Well, Violet was pretty much kidnapped. Then she looks at Hayden, who was looking out at Violet being dragged along.
"Keep pressure on his wound, will ya'? Keep an eye out on him, too!" Anne runs after the girls and disappears around the corner. It was silent in the cave. Duke was out somewhere, probably trying to find something to smoke. Even though I haven't seen him smoke. I wouldn't be surprised if he did.
Hayden kneels down and puts pressure on my arm. Which is actually quite painful. Why did he have to be so evil? Stealing Bry, making my sister like him, making everyone like him, in fact. I don't, obviously. I know that he's evil. One day he'll just back-stab us, then BAM! I told them so.
"So, Kris, why do you dislike me so much? I don't hate you or anything'. There's no need for hate, ya' know?" Hayden says calmly.
"Correction, hate."
"Well... Sorry, no need for hate. Honestly, I think you're a pretty cool and chill guy. If you just dropped the hate I bet we'd be best buds and crap."
Even though flattery worked quite well on me, Hayden wasn't going to pass that easily. "Who says crap?" I looked at him with a WTF look on my face. He laughed and eventually regained his composure.
"Kris, you're a funny dude. Come on, let's just be good mates," he put his free hand out for me to shake. I didn't. "... Still have harsh feelings against me. Care to explain what I've done?"
"Uh, try and take her away from me?" A look of disgust played on my face. Hayden looked utterly confused.
"... You're not incest, are you?" Hayden chuckles nervously. With his free hand, he pulled up slightly his sagged beanie. I just wanted to rip the beanie off his head and burn it. It's messing up with his hair. Then again, no one's hair could be as perfect as mine. Especially Hayden's. As hard as he could try, he'd still fail.
"Uh, no? I don't understand who could ever like Violet!" I looked at him with disgust again. Hayden seemed somewhat irritated, but he chuckled it off.
"Ah, you talk to much..." He said through gritted teeth. "Anyway, I assume you're talking about Bry, then. If you're not incest. No, I don't like her at all. She isn't my type. I think she likes you. She's trying to make you jealous, I think. Girls have pretty twisted minds." Hayden chuckled.
"Maybe you're right..." I grumbled to myself. I sat there, pondering what he had said. Would Bry do that to me?... He was right. Girls were pretty insane. Hayden kept pressure on my arm, but I eventually slipped into darkness and into a dream.
Bry was the main character of the dream, as always.
