"So this has happened before?" Duke asked after I finished explaining what I experienced while retrieving the yarrow herb.

"Yes. Two times, I think." I said, pacing and playing with my hair as I contemplated what exactly it was that happened to me. "I don't know what's going on. I'm scared."

Hayden was silent. In fact, he had his forehead on his knees, and was pulling his beanie over his ears, with Kris glaring at him disapprovingly. I hope they get along once Bry tells Kris she likes him and not Hayden. What a cruel thing to do to a person... I see her train of thought, I just don't agree with it. Especially since she's hurting my brother. If this doesn't end soon, I'm going to give her a piece of my mind. Nobody messes with Kris.

"You should be." Duke said, not helping my worries. "I'd be terrified. You're not actually burnt, are you?"

"No." I replied, then I lost it. I pulled my hair, tears forming in my eyes. "Help me... I'm scared it's going to happen again... I don't know what it is! I get dizzy, I see things that don't happen, I get hurt, I get dizzy again, and I wake up. I don't understand!"

My voice cracked when I said understand, and I threw myself to the ground and curled myself in a ball. I never do things like this, I always try to stay strong, but at the moment I was too scared to even think straight. Somebody shuffled towards me. They sat next to me and hugged me.

"It's okay." Kris said, and flipped his hair. "As long as your vision isn't my sexy hair, you probably won't pass out again."

Bry giggled, Anne sighed, Duke rolled his eyes, and Hayden didn't do anything. I tried not to laugh, because I was supposed to be sad and scared and crying. "Shut up." I said with a quiet smile on my face. He smirked. At least Bry isn't forcing him to loose his glow completely.

Bry. I jerked my head up, my eyes blaring holes into Bry's she stared back at me, and after a few seconds of me imagining what I would do to her if she didn't stop screwing with Kris's head, she started squirming in her spot.

Kris cleared his throat, flipped his hair and shook me a little bit, his arm around me, slung over my shoulders. "Uh, Violet," he whispered. "could you stop staring at my ex-girlfriend like she's dinner, please? I'd appreciate that."

That did it. For a moment, I was absolutely enraged. He genuinely thought they were over, even though Bry was just teasing him. She acts like he's a toy, and I'm sick of it! I was going to look at Kris, removing my glare from Bry, so that I could blow up on him, but something even more terrifying happened. Bry burst out a high-pitched, blood curling scream, and she held her head, falling to the cave floor. She kept screaming and squirming, nobody knew what to do.

"Everybody, everybody back up!" Hayden said, directing everyone backwards. Anne ran to the entrance of the cave, Duke stood as close as her could, and Kris stood a little closer than Hayden wanted him to. You could hear it - trust me. "Violet, please, back up! We don't know what's going on and it could be dangerous!"

I couldn't move. I was so angry, that I was still - almost calm. I just sat there, staring at Bry's squirming body. She started punching the floor, and pulling her long blond hair. Then, she did something drastic, and she stared clawing her wrists and once at her neck, like she was trying to escape her own skin.

Random people, looking at me. They called me names. I sunk in my desk. But I wasn't the one doing the actions. "You suck Bry! You're so stupid!"  Flash. A sharp pain in my thigh, blond hair hung from around my face, something wet and warm, like a drop of water, ran down my cheek. "A wuss? A wuss can't handle this." I was holding a knife, and I put it to my thigh, high where no one would see it. A sharp pain. But I wasn't the one doing the actions. Flash. I was kissing someone, a boy I have never seen in my life, at a carnival I had never been to. I backed away from him. "I love you." I said. He swallowed. "Yeah." But I wasn't the one saying this. Flash. I was standing on a bridge. The wind blew  through my hair and fluttered my shirt, my arms were extended out to my sides. I was crying. Was I about to commit suicide? "Goodbye, Jake." I said, and I jumped. But I wasn't the one jumping. Flash. I was in a hospital. The boy who I was kissing earlier sat next to my hospital bed. "You came." I muttered. He tied the balloon that said: 'Get well,' to my wrist, and sat back down. "I'm dying, Bry." He said. "I was hoping you died doing this. We could be together forever." Flash.
