Fans of SE7EN started screaming and putting up their colourful and decorative sign boards up high for them to see. I just stand there, waiting for their performance to start. Jason looked at me straight in the eyes before smiling and saying things in Korean, which I have no idea what they meant.
YoonJae started first by giving the beat with his two drumsticks and before I knew, the whole band started playing. The fans went crazy and quickly whipped out their phones to take pictures of the idols.
I analysed their emotions when they were performing. They all had no feelings. Not even one bit. YoonJae looks like he's having fun playing the drums at the back, but no. He was playing just for the sake of the song. He didn't have any passion for the song at all. Just sitting there, doing what's he supposed to do. All of them were doing the same thing; performing emotionlessly. Even though I didn't understand Korean yet, I could tell they didn't really mean what they said.
I noticed in the club that there were not that many people that attended for the concert.
"Sophine, why are there very little people here? I thought an average kpop concert can take up a whole football field. Maybe even two football fields. Or, are they not popular?" I asked.
"It's not that they're not popular, it's just that their record label doesn't want anyone to know their whereabouts as Jason requested to attend school, along with the others who were forced to come too. So instead of one whole concert, they just perform gigs at clubs," Sophine explained everything even though I could just hear bits of it because of the shrieks of fans in an enclosed building.
I watched the rest of the performance, and I swear, Jason and YoonJae kept staring at me. I wanted to shout at them "Am I an exhibit or something?!" But instead I just blush a bit and look down to the floor. BUT I still dislike Jason for not saying anything despite me repeating my words.
The concert ended successfully and both Sophine and I made our way backstage. There were usually always a group of fans screaming for their idols to come out or have a sneak peek into the backstage section. Fortunately, since Sophine was related to Jason, we got to enter without hesitation from the bodyguard.
As we walked to the corner of the backstage section, I saw four handsome, wait no, hot, boys removing their makeup. It reminded me of Timothy when I went backstage with him. He started to feel dizzy before fainting. It was terrible.
"Emily! Come here! Let me introduce all of them to you," Sophine shouted out of nowhere.
"Coming!" I grabbed my phone and ran to Sophine.
A tall, cute, curly-haired guy came to greet us.
"Annyeong!" He waved his hand right beside his head.
I just smiled and waved back, my eyes totally focused on Jason. He was so hot, even though his attitude sucks. He was still very attractive. Wait. What the hell are you doing, Emily? He's not your type, so stop thinking about him!
"This is TaeHwa, one of the guitarists," He still had his killing stare on. I don't know why but Sophine was always happy whenever she was with him. I don't bother knowing why, anyway.
Another guy appeared from the darkness. This time it was YoonJae. Man, his hair was still messy and he looked so. Freaking. Hot.
"This is YoonJae, whom you already know. He's the drummer."
"Annyeong, Miss Emily," we all laughed at his amazingly funny accent and clumsy bow.
Another guy came. As soon as I recognised the smokey look on him, I knew it was Hwayoung.
"This is Hwayoung, the other guitarist."
"Annyeonghaseyo! Let's go eat together sometime! Wait, we can go to the arcade! No, no, no. We can-"
"Sure! I would love to hang out with some new friends!" I laughed at his cuteness.
I could see in the shadows that Jason was hesitating to come and greet me. But, I walked to him before he could even take a step. I sticked out my hand to him, waiting for him to shake hands with me.
"Hi Jason. We meet again," I said, trying to get him to greet me back. And he did.
"Annyeong, Emily-ssi. I shall, wait, we shall take care of you during your stay here, so please enjoy," he said everything so fast before shaking hands with me. Cute.
"We should head back now before the school gates locks us out," YoonJae said while grabbing his jacket from the chair. But, we took a different exit. Probably to avoid the crazy fans.
As soon as we stepped out, a huge, REALLY huge, black car appeared in front of us. A guy in a tuxedo then came out from the driver's seat.
"I was told to come here," The man said.
"This is Secretary HwangJae. Most of the time he would pick us up whenever we send him the signal," Jason explained to me but his voice was soft. Heh.
We all jumped into the car, not literally, and headed back to school to end the day off.
HwangJae let us off at the foyer of the school, shortening our walking distance.
"Let me take you back to your dorm-" YoonJae was cut by Sophine, as always.
"No, no. It's okay. We can take care of ourselves." She replied.
"You sure?" Jason then asked, his eyes full of worry. But, what for anyways? Hmph. Typical.
"We'll uh, just get going then," both Sophine and I waved goodbye and made our way to our dorm.
We couldn't talk at all since it was already lights out but we were allowed to stay up till 11, because we followed Jason and the others for their gig.
I just took a short rinse and slipped into my awfully pink hello kitty pajamas and jumped into bed to end the day off.
