We all stared at the screen in horror, our minds racing with the implications of the message.

"What does it mean?" Koel asked, her voice trembling.

"I don't know," Karan said, his eyes scanning the room frantically, "but I think we're about to find out."

Suddenly, the room was filled with a blinding light, and we all shielded our eyes. When the light faded, we saw that the room had changed. The walls were now a deep, bloody red, and the air was thick with the scent of smoke.

"What's going on?" Varun asked, his voice laced with fear.

"I think we're in some kind of simulation," Aneesh said, his eyes fixed on the screen. "A simulation designed to test our humanity."

We all turned to Aneesh, shocked by his words.

"What do you mean?" I asked, my heart pounding in my chest.

"I mean that we're not just fighting for our lives," Aneesh said, his voice cold and detached. "We're fighting for our souls."

As Aneesh spoke, the screen flickered to life again, displaying a message that made our blood run cold:

"CHOOSE ONE OF YOUR OWN TO SACRIFICE. THE CHOSEN ONE WILL BE SUFFER. THE REST WILL SPARED."

We all stared at each other in horror, our minds reeling with the implications of the message. Who would we choose to sacrifice?

And then, I saw something that made my heart skip a beat. Aneesh was smiling, a cold, calculating smile that sent shivers down my spine.

"Aneesh, what's going on?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

Anish's smile grew wider, and he took a step forward, his eyes glinting with a sinister light.

"I think it's time we made our choice," Anish said, his voice dripping with malice.

And with that, Aneesh reached out and grabbed my arm, Aneesh dragged me towards the glowing red symbol, I felt a surge of terror. The symbol seemed to be pulsing with an otherworldly energy, its power calling to me like a siren's song. I could feel its dark magic wrapping around me, squeezing the air from my lungs.

But before I could even struggle, Karan launched himself at Aneesh, tackling him to the ground. The two of them crashed to the floor, punching and kicking each other in a frenzy of violence.

"LET HER GO!" Karan shouted, his eyes blazing with fury. His face was twisted in a fierce snarl, his muscles tensed with adrenaline.

Aneesh laughed, his eyes glinting with malevolent glee. "You're too late," he sneered, his voice dripping with contempt. Something is wrong no everything is wrong . "The ritual is almost complete."

But Karan was relentless. He punched Aneesh with all his might, but Aneesh just laughed, his body absorbing the blows like a demonic sponge. Aneesh's eyes seemed to be gleaming with an otherworldly energy, his skin shifting and rippling like a living thing.

I took advantage of the distraction to break free from Aneesh's grip. I stumbled backward, gasping for breath. My heart was racing with fear, my mind reeling with confusion.

As I watched, Karan and Aneesh fought fiercely, their bodies locked in a struggle for dominance. The air was filled with the sound of grunting and punching, the floor shaking beneath their feet.

But in the heat of the fight, Aneesh lost his footing. He stumbled backward, his arms flailing wildly. His eyes widened in shock as he realized he was falling.

And then, in a shocking twist, Aneesh fell backward into the glowing red symbol. His body began to glow with an otherworldly energy, his screams echoing through the room like the wails of the damned.

The symbol seemed to be absorbing Aneesh's body, pulling him in with an irresistible force. His limbs were stretched out to the sides, his fingers and toes splayed in a grotesque parody of a starfish.

As I watched in horror, Aneesh's body began to dissolve into nothingness, his flesh melting away like wax in a furnace. His screams grew louder and more intense, until they were abruptly cut off.

The room was silent, except for the sound of Karan's heavy breathing. He stood panting, his eyes fixed on the spot where Aneesh had disappeared.

But then, a faint whispering began to echo through the room. It was a soft, raspy voice that seemed to be coming from all directions at once.

"The ritual is complete," the voice whispered. "The sacrifice has been made."

Karan's eyes snapped towards me, filled with a mixture of fear and determination.

"We have to get out of here," he whispered. "Now."

But as we turned to flee, I realized that the door was gone. The walls had shifted, trapping us in a labyrinthine nightmare.

We were not alone. And we were not safe.
