Pride is the oldest of the brothers. He sees himself as their leader, and imagines that his brothers want to be like him and look up to him (which isn't true). He always has the last word, and he is very good at getting what he wants. He is manipulative, and a smooth talker. He can make you do things for him without you even realising you are doing it. Not like hypnosis or something, but you just won't realise you are giving him exactly what he wants. That is his talent: using people.

Although he can be an absolute dick towards his brothers, they respect him. All the sins respect each other. Of course Pride thinks he should earn the most respect, and his brothers give him that, even though it is faked. His brothers figured that if they would pretend to give Pride what he wants they won't have to constantly hear him complain about it. Vice versa, Pride cares for his brothers and respects them. He always wants to help them out. Of course that is because he thinks he is the best person to do the job of helping out, but his brothers appreciate his willingness to help out.

Pride is quite handsome. He is tall, around 6'2, has dark hair and beautiful blue eyes. He is muscled, but not too muscled, just a perfect balance. He is kind of the typical prince charming who you would want to come and rescue you from a high tower. Many women fall in love with him, and some men too. He knows he is handsome, but until he had actually become the sin of pride he didn't brag about it, and was actually kind of modest about it.

When Pride was put on Earth he didn't quite know where to start. He could feel that a lot of people were putting others first, instead of themselves. And he could also feel those with a low self-worth. He wasn't really sure what to do, but he started to speak to those who he could feel. Not that they would hear it, of course. But the speaking did touch their soul, and a change was seen. People would suddenly become much more arrogant, and started to think of themselves as the best. Pride was satisfied with that change, and because he too wanted to be the best, he made it a challenge to change as many people in one day as possible, or at least more than his brothers would.

Unlike the Virtues, the Sins don't always stay together. They will go to different towns and do their thing, though they make sure they are in the same area, just in case. They are close, just like the sisters, but in a different way. They love each other, but they have this "if you love something let it go" attitude. They trust each other to be fine on their own, but every once in a while they will check up on each other. They all do their own thing, but know that they could always come to their brothers for help.

Pride often wonders why he is chosen to do this job. Although he does like watching people change, there is this little voice in his head that wonders why there is a need for people to change like that. He knows damn well that arrogance isn't a much liked character trait, but yet he loves being arrogant and watching others being arrogant. It is like a little conflict between what he feels and what the voice in his head says to him.

One day he slipped into a house where there was living a young woman who would always put others before herself. Pride's mission was to change that, and he would. But when he entered her house he saw her standing in front of the mirror, in her underwear, looking at herself. She didn't seem quite pleased with what she saw in the mirror, she actually seemed loathsome. Pride watched her for a moment, not understanding why she was so sad, he thought of her as beautiful. He slowly began to talk to her, telling her how pretty she was. He told her that he loved women with curves, and that the small stretch marks on her thighs made her unique. As he talked he could see that the woman's expression started to change. She looked at herself again and smiled a little, now seeming much happier about herself. Pride watched her with a smile, and decided that maybe pride wasn't always a bad thing. He realised that he could also use his ability to make people love themselves.

And that's what he does. Even though pride is a sin, Pride makes it his job to help those with a low self esteem. He likes watching people change and love themselves, though he will never admit that. It is his guilty pleasure, and it is a beautiful thing to do.
