So, I guess we've come to the end of the stories. Well, not literally the end. The brothers and sisters are still around. But for now this is all I can tell you. I'm not even sure if I was allowed to tell this.. oh well.
I hope that now you'll understand that good isn't always good, and evil isn't always evil. There is no such thing as pure good or pure evil. People will always think that what they are doing is good, for a better cause, or just fun. The Virtues think that what they are doing is good, yet some slipped up, or did things that weren't that good. Likewise, the Sins did what they thought was their job, and what we deem evil, yet show compassion and mercy at times. It's not as black and white as you may think.
I also personally believe that the Sins' and Virtues' true selves are suppressed. I first started thinking this after Kindness' incident. Because before Kindness became a Virtue, she was very justice oriented. Still kind and bubbly, but also a believer of "an eye for an eye". Also some other minor things about the Sins and Virtues makes me believe that their old self is still there, but overpowered by the thing they stand for.
So what now, then? What was the point of all this?
Well to teach you a lesson, obviously. Also to let you know that sometimes what you feel might not be in your complete control. Maybe, the next time you feel envious, you might have a visitor. Or when you feel very patient, you got a little help. You'll never know. Of course I'm not saying that that is always the case. They can't be everywhere at once. But everyone will have at least one visit from either the Sins or the Virtues, once in their life. I can promise you that.
And me? Well I'm glad that you ask. I remain the Guardian of the Sins and Virtues, for however long needed. Most of the time I don't have to do anything, which is pretty much a dream job for most humans. But I can't sit around and not pay attention. I always have to watch over them. In a sense, I am like their Godparent. I love them all, and have seen them at their best and at their worst. Even though I don't always approve of their actions, I care for them all the same.
Alright, alright. I'm getting too soppy. Let's leave it here, okay? You were a lovely audience, and it was nice to have someone listen to my rambles for once.
So this is me, signing off.
Goodbye, for now.
And remember, think twice before you judge someone's actions.
