Demi's POV

When I got to the bottom of the stairs Maddie immediately ran into my arms and kept telling me how much she missed me. Knowing that she missed me and she was happy to see me put a huge smile on my face.

I turned my head to the door and I noticed Ellie standing there awkwardly and she didn't seem to be very happy, so I decided to leave her alone and go to the living room with Mads instead.

All of a sudden I heard somebody stomping upstairs and one of the bedroom doors slamming.

Ellie's POV

When I slammed the front door after returning from hell I noticed the devil, I mean my lovely older sister Demi standing there. It took her about two minutes for her to notice me and when she did she took Maddie into the living room with her acting like I didn't exist.

I started to cry at the fact my own sister doesn't want to be near me. I ran upstairs making sure I stomped my feet at the same time and slammed my bedroom door shut. I am so fed up of being treated like I am worthless by everyone at home and at school. I had an awful day at school because my own BEST FRIEND to me that I am a worthless, a fat slut and nobody likes me. Then I have to come home and Demi to be like that, it must be true.

I ran into the bathroom which is attached to my room and locked the door behind me. I picked up my razor and smashed it onto the floor and I held the blade in my hand. I thought about what people at school said to me and how my family treats me, I started to cry as I placed the blade onto my wrist and applied pressure and slid it across my wrist. As I looked down at my wrist I saw ten fresh cuts some barley bleeding and some caused blood to fall down my arm.

I got up from the floor and cleaned the cuts once they stopped bleeding and I hid my blade behind the sink.

"Ellie dinner!" My mom yelled from the stairs.

I opened the bathroom door and picked up my hoodie so nobody would notice the cuts on my arm, not that they pay any attention to me any way.

I made my way to the kitchen table and took my usual seat between Dallas and Maddie, Demi was sitting right in front of me telling everyone about what she has been up to. Everyone was so involved with the conversation that they were too oblivious to notice me throw my food away.

After I 'finished' my food I asked to be excused which everyone allowed, although Demi gave me a weird look.
