Chapter 14

Ellie's POV

I was so scared about Demi, what is she going to do or say and why is she so angry? These questions were going through my head so when I was coming up with an answer I didn't realise that Demi was walking towards me with so much anger. She was really starting to scare me.

"Why do you look so angry?" Maddie asked Demi. She shouldn't have asked her that by the way her facial expression changed.

"Ellie's ignorance towards my boyfriend." She snapped at Maddie. This was definitely not like her because she would make sure she never upset Maddie as she is her favourite after all.

"How was she ignorant?" Maddie asked sounding nervous to ask her a simple question that I wasn't exactly sure of the answer either.

"I didn't mean to snap at you baby girl." She said to Maddie calmly. "She was ignorant because she refused to say hello or even look at Wilmer even though he has helped me with so much." Oh so now she was accusing me of not be thankful for all the help he has given her, of course I'm grateful it's just I'm nervous around new people especially men.

"ELLIE!" Demi shouted snapping her head into my direction, her look made me flinch back.

"Yes Demi?" I said in a questioning manner.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TALK OR LOOK AT WILMER?!?" she shouted at the same time as asking.

"I had a reason I just don't want anyone to know about it." I said so quietly that it was barley audio able.

"SPEAK UP SO I CAN HEAR YOU!" She begun getting closer to me and by now Maddie had excused  herself and ran out of my room.

"I have a reason that I would most rather like to keep to myself than tell you or anyone in this house to be honest." I said more louder this time.

"I HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW ELLIE, YOU COMPLETELY IGNORED MY BOYFRIEND TODAY AND THEN REFUSED TO HAVE ANY DINNER!" I don't know why she can't just realise that I am no in the mood to talk especially her.

"Can I please just be left alone?" I asked hopefully.

"WHY DO YOU NEED ANYMORE TIME ON YOUR OWN? YOU'VE BEEN IN HERE ON YOUR OWN MOST OF THE DAY!" I don't know why she won't just let me be alone and why she is getting so angry that I didn't talk to her precious boyfriend.

"Can you calm do then and stop shouting so we can have a civilised conversation." I was practically begging my older sister.

"Fine but you owe me a reasonable explanation." She said but I still needed to understand things myself before I could even tell anyone.

"But Demi I don't even know how to get my head around it let alone talk about it." I tried to explain.

"But if you want me to help you then you have to let me in no matter what it is about." She just wouldn't stop then would she or is she going to keep on trying to pry the answer out of me.

"Can we talk about it another day when I feel ready because then you'll know if I trust you about telling you that and coming to you willingly." this was my last chance to avoid talking to her about this or else there was going to be no way out.

"Fine but promise me that you will tell me why you won't talk to Wilmer."

"I promise."

Demi's POV

I couldn't help but be angry at Ellie for ignoring Wilmer, she hadn't met him before so I know he has done nothing to hurt her in the past but I don't what happened. When she told me there was a reason but she didn't want to tell me it felt like she had no trust in me. Although she has promised that she will come to me when she is ready to give me a full explanation about what was going on down there.

I still couldn't believe that I snapped at Mads though, she didn't do anything wrong to wind me up yet I shouted at her, what kind of horrible sister was I to scare my baby girl. I excused myself from Ellie's room especially because she told me she just wanted to be on her own.

When I closed the door behind me I slowly made my way to Maddie's room so I could figure out what to say to her. I knocked on the door three times and when I was about to knock again the door opened.

"Hey baby girl." I said walking into her room.

"Hey Dems." She still seemed cautious of me because she wouldn't even look up at me.

"I wanted to tell you I'm sorry for snapping at you I never wanted to scare you." I told her. She just nodded in response.

"Please tell me what's going on inside that beautiful mind." I asked nudging her slightly earning a giggle out of her.

"It just scared me, I know you and Ellie always shout at each other but I have never been in the same room when it has happened." She told me which made me feel really guilty about the way I acted around her.

"I am so sorry I hope you can forgive me, I know it was wrong of me to act the way that I did I just needed to get it out my system or else the outcome would've been much worse." I informed her.

"Please don't get angry but why did you shout at Ellie for not talking to Wilmer." she asked finally looking up at me.

"I got so angry with her because he has done nothing wrong to anyone especially her and she acts as if he doesn't exist to her. Also the fact that she didn't even come down for dinner even though she told me she would try to get better and completely went back on her word." It was starting to frustrate me that I couldn't even rely on her word.

"Oh but why would she not talk to him he is a great person." She said.

"I know he is but she won't tell me why but she has promised me that she will tell me when she is ready to, so I just need to allow her to come to me when she has figured out what she would like to tell and how much detail she will tell me about it." While I was telling her she was nodding to show she was listening to me and taking it all in.

"So it's just a waiting game then?" She asked.

"Yeah."
