LA PRINCESA ELEANOR SE UNE AL VOLUNTARIADO DE LA CRUZ ROJA BRITÁNICA

Aprovechando su estancia en Inglaterra con motivo de las vacaciones previas a la primavera, la Princesa Eleanor ha acudido este jueves a la sede central de la Cruz Roja Británica, en Londres, para mantener un encuentro con jóvenes voluntarios y participantes en diversos programas de la ONG. La Princesa ha conocido de primera mano las labores que realiza la Cruz Roja Británica a través de los testimonios y la experiencia de voluntarios que colaboran con la entidad.

Eleanor, que vestía pantalón negro, jersey de cuello alto granate y americana príncipe de gales, comenzó el pasado sábado 8, sus vacaciones de tres semanas previas al inicio del tercer trimestre en el internado "Le Rosey" ubicado en Suiza. Según el calendario escolar del centro educativo, Eleanor retomará las clases el próximo lunes 31 de marzo y concluirá el 28 de junio.

Estos días en la capital inglesa la segunda heredera al trono ha estado asistiendo a varios compromisos reales, el pasado 12, como cada año, participó del "Commonwealth Day" junto a sus padres los Príncipes de Wales y hace tres días acompañó a su madre al desfile de St.Patrick. Ya podemos ver que la futura monarca ha empezado a tener más asistencia a eventos propios de la Familia Real y a asistir a compromisos en nombre de la institución.

El evento de este jueves es la segunda ocasión en la que la Princesa participa en una actividad institucional en solitario, después de su estreno en octubre de 2024, una semana después de su cumpleaños número 16, la heredera participó de una charla sobre Ciberseguridad en el colegio Barnhill Community High School ubicado en Hayes.

PRINCESS ELEANOR JOINS THE BRITISH RED CROSS VOLUNTEERING PROGRAMME

Taking advantage of her stay in England for the pre-spring holidays, Princess Eleanor went to the British Red Cross headquarters in London on Thursday to meet with young volunteers and participants in various programmes of the NGO. The Princess learned first-hand about the work carried out by the British Red Cross through the testimonies and experiences of volunteers who collaborate with the organisation.

Eleanor, who was wearing black trousers, a maroon turtleneck jumper and a 'príncipe de gales' blazer, began her three-week holiday last Saturday 8th, prior to the start of the third term at the "Le Rosey" boarding school in Switzerland. According to the school calendar, Eleanor will resume classes on Monday 31 March and will finish on 28 June.

During these days in the English capital, the second heiress to the throne has been attending several royal engagements, last 12th, as every year, she participated in the "Commonwealth Day" with her parents the Prince and Princess of Wales and three days ago she accompanied her mother to the St. Patrick's Day parade. We can already see that the future monarch has started to attend more Royal Family events and to attend engagements on behalf of the institution.

Thursday's event is the second time that the Princess has participated in a solo institutional activity, after her debut in October 2024, a week after her 16th birthday, the heiress took part in a talk on Cybersecurity at Barnhill Community High School in Hayes.
