story - Thump, Thump

Best to tell: when your parents aren't home, or if you are baby sitting.

There was a babysitter who was watching two young boys.

The parents were not due to come home until late at night, so she let them watch t.v. until their parents were home.

While watching there was a news report about a deranged murderer who had broke free out of an insane asylum nearby. The news reporter told them to lock their doors and windows because he was very dangerous.

The boys started to panic, so the babysitter put them to bed.

Hours later one of the boys awoke to the sound of a large, crash! From down stairs.

The boy was frightened, but tried to think it was just his imagination.

A few minutes later he heard a: drag. Thump, thump. Drag.

Again, he agreed that it was his imagination.

Again, drag. Thump, thump. Drag.

The boy awoke his brother, and they both listned to the sound that eventually got louder and louder.

The boys decided to push their beds in front of the door, baracading it from the outside.

They listned in horor as it reached the top of the stairs.

Drag. Thump, thump. Drag.

All of a sudden it stopped.

Minutes later their parent's arrived to find a trail of blood leading upstairs.

Frightened, the boys mother called out their names.

Once hearing their parents were home, the boys pulled their beds and opened the door to a grusome scene.

Laying on the floor, in a pool of her own blood, layed the babysitter.

Her arms had been cut off at her elbows, and her legs cut of at her knees.

The boys figured out what the, drag. Thump, thump. Drag. Noise was...

Using her bloody stumps, the babysitter had dragged herself upstairs to warn the boys about the killer.
....

Now that's one dedicated babysitter!
