Title: two fingers, the picture, or three fingers.
By: idk, my friend told me it.
Best to tell: when moving into a new home.

There once was a young boy. He was moving out of his parents house and found a nice, quiet home in the city.
When he first got there, he took a look around for anything left behind. He only found one thing, a framed photo of a beautiful woman holding up two fingers to make a peace sign.
He was entranced by her beauty. Every single day he would stare at the smiling girl. After he had settled in, he went around town asking who had lived in the house before and if they new the girl in the picture.
Not a single person in town had ever seen that girl.
One late night, the boy was sleeping in his bed when he heard three knocks on the front door.
He dismissed it and went back to sleep.
A few minutes later, the three knocks came again. Was it his parents coming to visit him? They hadn't said they were going to come over any time soon. He wondered who would knock on his door in the middle of the night, but went back to bed anyway.
Another three knocks and the boy finally got up to go tell the person at the door to go away.
He remembered the picture. Maybe he could ask the person at the door if they new her?
He picked up the picture of the girl and headed to the door. When he opened it, not a single person was there.
He looked around the street, dead silent.
He looked up and down the houses, nothing.
Then he walked out and onto the road where he looked to see if someone was hiding somewhere.
All of a sudden, a huge pick up truck rammed into him. The man in the truck immediately got out and called 911. But by the time the ambulance came, the boy was already dead.
Police took his body away and cleaned up everything.
But one thing was left behind. The truck driver saw it sitting on the side of the road where the boy was killed.
He picked it up. It was a framed picture of a beautiful girl.
But this time . . .
She was holding up three fingers.
