I looked around.
The after party seemed fun but my feet were killing me and I was exhausted.
The night was full of congratulations for both the awards and my baby, hands on my belly, comments about how small my stomach was and baby advice.
DG was originally sat next to me but eventually left to mingle.
I watched him and rubbed my stomach.
A million thoughts ran through my mind but I was brought out when my baby kicked me in the lungs and ribs.
I cried out in pain and panted.
"Are you okay!?" Lasol ran up to me and I nodded, coughing and trying to catch my breath.
She took my hand and pat my back.
I felt embarrassed as everyone was gathering around me.
"Is she okay?"
"What's going on?"
"Did her water break?"
"Move, move! YN? What's wrong?" DG pushed his way to the front.
"Fine.... I'm fine... baby... baby kicked me... hard... hurt..." I said through painful breaths.
"Do you want to go to the hospital?" Oliver held my other hand.
"No. I'm okay. Just needed to catch my breath." I smiled and stood up with a wince. "Sorry."
"What are you apologizing for, girl? You just got kicked in the lungs by a little human. That's gotta hurt." Lasol smiled.
"I'm going home." I said after thanking her.
"Do you want me to come with?" She asked and I shook my head.
"Stay and enjoy the party." I smiled.
"Come on, let us go with you. We're worried knowing you're all alone, ready to pop at any moment." Oliver said.
"It'll be like a sleepover!" Lasol cheered as the crowed dissipated.
I laughed.
"Okay, fine. Only if you guys are really sure about leaving."
"Girl, we're friends! We won't lie to you! Now let's go! You look exhausted." Lasol threw an arm around me and the three of us turned and left.
I can't wait for Wednesday.
DG's POV
Wednesday came so slowly.
I glanced at my phone sitting on the stand next to me.
I want to check up on her.
But I can't.
Will she call me to let me know?
What if she asks me to be in the delivery room with her?
No, she would have asked beforehand.
But...
"DG? Everything okay?"
I looked at Crystal and nodded.
"You worried about your baby?" Gun smirked and I rolled my eyes.
"I told you. It's not mine." I sipped my whiskey.
"Really? Because you two were really close and suddenly you two are distant. You try to seem like friends in front of the cameras, but you run off the moment you can. Yet somehow, you're always watching over her."
"You're delusional." I rolled my eyes again.
"If the baby is yours, don't you think you should step up? She's only 21, and already a single mother. She must be scared." Crystal said and I stared at my drink.
I have to many enemies. Sure, I changed my face, identity, and everything about myself, but if they find out.... I know I can keep myself safe but I won't always be around to protect YN or the baby.
It's better if I'm not involved at all.
"If she didn't want to get pregnant, she should have kept her legs shut. It's not my fault she went out and got pregnant by god knows who. Her mistakes aren't my responsibility."
Everyone stared at me and Crystal glared.
I did just slut shame YN who's on friendly terms with Crystal.
Suddenly I got a notification that Lasol posted for the first time in a while.
Hmm...
