-the following evening-
Eisuke motioned for me to wrap my arm around his as we waited for the elevator to get to the ballroom.
"Gotta make sure you two really look like you're in a relationship huh?" Baba chuckled.
Eisuke didn't say a word and continued staring blankly at the elevator doors.
Finally we reached the 30th floor as the elevator dinged and we all walked in to a gorgeous room filled with plates of different types of food I had never seen, beautiful copper statutes that were carved mostly of animals, and a large dance floor with an orchestra playing up above. It had to be one of the most amazing places I had ever been in.
"It's not that interesting." Eisuke said with his normal cold expression.
Before I said anything Eisuke's groupies started showing up by the dozens.
"Who is this?"
"Is this your girlfriend Eisuke?"
"The King is dating someone?! Who?!"
I tried my best to not roll my eyes at them and give off a rude tone.
Eisuke pushed me with him to the back of the room trying to get away from the annoying group of women.
"You have permission to speak since we are around another people, but as soon as we leave it goes back to normal."
I nodded my head as we met up with everyone in the back.
"It will be a little difficult to get away from your groupies, you know they're relentless." Soryu said crossing his arms.
"Why are we even here?" I ask.
"Well it's a meeting for possibly opening another Tres Spades hotel." Baba says.
"In Dubai." Ota adds.
"Wow, that sounds am-" I'm cut off by Eisuke's groupies.
"What is the lady's name Mr. Ichinomiya?"
"My name is Hana." I say annoyed. Why don't they ask me themselves? I'm standing right next to him.
"Someone's in a bad mood." One of the groupies giggles.
I'm already sick of them and I'm leaving before I do something I'm going to regret later.
I angrily push my way through the women making sure none of them follow me.
I start heading for the elevator and step inside. Right before it closes Eisuke pushes the doors and steps inside. He doesn't say anything until the doors close.
"What the hell was that?" Eisuke yells and I lean myself in the corner of the elevator.
"They were making me mad." I said folding my arms.
"That doesn't give you the right to just walk away. I may not like them either but I have to deal with it every day. Besides, I gave you permission to speak, nothing else."
He was right. I shouldn't have just walked away. I'm going to have to deal with those women a lot more then just tonight.
"You're right Eisuke, I'm sorry." I looked up. His face was close to mine, but it wasn't his normal look. He had a slight softness in his eyes.
"It's okay. Just..Don't do it again okay?"
"Okay, I won't."
Eisuke stepped back and stood next to me, his suit brushing against my arm.
"You gonna pay me back for that dress?" Eisuke chuckled.
I hadn't heard him laugh yet, I looked up and smiled.
The elevator brought us to Eisuke's suite. We both walked to the bedroom to change.
Eisuke unbuttoned his shirt throwing it in the hamper in the closet.
I tried unzipping my dress but all my efforts were failing."Here." Eisuke unzipped my dress making it spill around my ankles.
My cheeks flushed and I quickly grabbed for my grey v-neck and red shorts."Wait." Eisuke wrapped his hands around my face. My pulse quickened as the gaze between us seemed to elongate.
"I don't want you to be afraid of me, and I don't want you to think you're nothing but a toy to me."
I was surprised of the words that just came out of his mouth.
"Really? You fully mean that?"
"Yes I do."
Eisuke leaned in and kissed me ever so softly. I moved my arms to his shoulders as we began to fall back on the bed.
