"HANAHANAHANA!" Hiro was yelling shaking my shoulders.
"What the hell?!" I pushed his hands away propping myself up on the bed.
"Before our job tonight commences we want to take you out around town!"
"How are you always so chipper." I grumbled.
"Quick! Get ready." He said throwing me some clothes.
I put on the navy above the knee dress he handed me. I wore this for the party we had celebrating my initiation to the Black Foxes a few years ago. It brought back lots of memories. Takuto made me wear this on our first date as well.
I figured Hiro chose this because it was probably the only piece of clothing they had for me here that weren't men's sweatpants.
My hair seemed to be showing its natural curl off in an acceptable way today so I didn't straighten it. I laughed looking at myself in the mirror, I felt I was more concerned about what I looked like around these guys than my own picky boyfriend.
I headed downstairs putting my black messenger bag on my shoulder with my black doc martens noisily making everyone know I was coming down the stairs.
"Alright sorry guys, just had a slow morning."
Everyone turned to me and I caught a glimpse at Takuto, he was blushing as always.
"Ugh c'mon guys, have you never seen a woman before?!" Takuto said brushing past me walking out the door. "Let's go!" He yelled.
I'm glad Takuto hadn't changed, but I still wanted to talk to him about what happened between us. I felt we just left off awkwardly, so naturally I wanted to finalize it.
We went to an aquarium for a couple hours. I mostly looked at the jellyfish as they amazed me the most.
"You never get tired of them do you?" Takuto said walking up beside me.
"Nope. They always seem to inspire me."
"Let's get out of here." Takuto said grabbing my arm.
"Everyone will notice we're gone."
"So? I want to spend time with you."
We walked to a park with hundreds of cherry blossom trees along the sidewalk.
"Wow this is gorgeous." I said as we sat down on a nearby bench.
"I know we aren't together anymore, but I'm happy to see you." Takuto said covering his face.
"Me too. I'm sorry how weird things got. I didn't know what to say, I did what was wrong and ran away from my feelings."
"Do you love him?"
"What?"
"Your boyfriend."
"Well, yes."
"I see."
"Takuto you can't expect me to sulk in the past."
"I waited for you to come back."
It suddenly started to rain, but we were under a big cherry blossom tree so we didn't have to move.
Takuto's face remained expressionless as I felt tears well up in my eyes.
"I thought you didn't care."
"What? How could you think that?"
"I just didn't think you felt the same about me. You were always busy, even though we worked together I felt we were always so far away from each other."
"Hana.." Takuto moved his face closer to mine "I always cared about you, I was just too shy to show it. Now it looks like I'm too late for us to be something."
"Don't say that."
"What?"
"I know I love my boyfriend, but I loved you too. I'm caught in this triangle now."
"I don't want to push you into anything."
"No I know, this is something I have to decide on my own."
I hugged him tight as I said these words, tears streaming down my face. I loved two men, both completely opposite, and I had not the slightest clue of what to do next.
