Eisuke and I arrived at the airport 2 hours before my flight like last time. Hundreds of thoughts raced through my mind. I was terribly worried about seeing Takuto. I hoped he would just act his normal self, and not weird because I abruptly ended our relationship."Hana? It's your turn to order." Eisuke said tapping me on the shoulder.
We were at a fancy coffee shop.
"I'll just have a Mexican mocha no whip."
We sat down as the waitress brought us our coffees in travel cups.
"You sure you want to go on this trip? You seem really nervous."
"Yes of course! I'm just really anxious because I haven't seen them in a couple years. We all used to be really close."
"I see."
The intercom came on saying my flight was getting ready to board now.
"Wow already?" I got up taking my luggage and coffee with me as Eisuke walked me over to the gate.
"Well I'll see you in 4 days." We had a small kiss smiling back at each other and I turned walking to the front showing them my first class ticket as they escorted me to the plane.
I waved and smiled once more before the people behind me blocked my view of him.
I started to get really nervous now. I wasn't fond of flying but hopefully it'd be over before I knew it.
The flight was over 6 hours long, so I took a long nap, then read some magazines and came across a famous statue that had been stolen a couple days ago.
They're at it again
The flight was finally over as the planes wheels violently hit the ground.
I had a flight attendant help me with my luggage as I was too short to get it out from above me.
I rolled out of the plane running through the jet bridge feeling all my anxiety dissipate as I awaited to see my old friends.
"Hana!" Hiro embraced me first following Kenshi and everyone else except Takuto which stood by unamused.
We all separated from the hug as I looked at Takuto shifting my eyebrows.
"C'mere Koi Fish." He squeezed me in a tight hug.
"Ta-Takuto I can't br-breathe."
"Sorry." His cheeks turned a soft pink.
"I'm glad you haven't changed." I poked his cheek.
"Shut it!" Takuto said as I laughed.
"It's so good to see you all." I smiled wide.
"You too!" Atsumu gleefully said.
"It's been awhile since I've had your pork noodles and miso-soup at LRN."
"I'll make a batch as soon as we get there!"
Riki draped his arm over my shoulder as we all began walking out to the parking garage.
"Been busy lately huh? Why are you in Dubai?"
"It's a long story.."
"Ah, well I guess we'll just save that for later."
Even though these guys were the closest thing I had to friends I had to make sure I didn't slip anything about the auctions. I would really get in trouble if something like that happened none the less what would happen to my friends.
---
"So how are the Fire Crows treatin ya?" Atsumu asked as we all enjoyed two steaming bowls of miso soup and pork noodles in front of us.
"About that.."
"What happened?" Everyone's gaze was instantly upon me.
"I'd rather just talk about it later." I suddenly felt hot so I took my jacket off forgetting about my shoulder being wrapped as I was wearing a dark grey tank top.
"Hana! What happened?!" Hiro said.
"It better not be that boyfriend you got." Riki said folding his arms.
"No! No! Eisuke wouldn't do anything. Let me explain, I found out my parents were killed, a friend of mine that is a detective said that it seemed suspicious. He looked up more information and apparently the rivals of the Fire Crows the Ice Dragons, killed my parents. I went to find the truth and my brother shot me right here" I pointed to the spot covered by the bandages."I was tied to a wooden chair at the time, the friction of the bullet tipped the chair and I broke my shoulder. I have certain connections of staging a fake death. So I did exactly that, that's why my hair color looks different along with my style. Fire Crows, Ice Dragons, even a supposedly new prime minister believes I'm dead."
"Wow." Kenshi said.
"I just figured you had a rich boyfriend because of the clothes but holy crap." Hiro exclaimed sending a sly smile
"Well I've got that too." I chuckled.
"That makes sense regarding the huge house I tracked you down at." Takuto said setting down his sake.
"Are you implying I couldn't have such nice clothes, a private yacht and a private island with a mansion on it?"
"That's exactly what I'm saying." Takuto laughed.
"You're such a jerk!" I said smacking his chest as I took a bite of pork noodles.
"Well what else is new?" Hiro asked.
"Nothing really, I pretty much told you everything just now."
"Well, Hana. We brought you down here for a reason. Of course we wanted to see you. But we have a favor to ask." Hiro said looking at Riki.
"What's that?"
"Well we want you to be apart of The Black Foxes again." Riki said.
"What?! No! Why do you think I left the Fire Crows? I'm in a serious relationship, I told myself I wouldn't get into anything dangerous."
"You know being a thief is safer than being a mobster. We prepared you for the big leagues."
"I know Riki. I just, I don't know if I could do it again."
"We have a mission tomorrow, go over the blueprint tonight and if you don't like it after we do the mission you don't have to come back."
"Okay." I felt uneasy about this but excited at the same time.
I remember the hundreds of missions we went on as a group. They were amazing, I was only in it for the adrenaline. But I did occasionally feel like celebrating after we successfully completed our job.
Riki handed me the blueprints for tomorrow and I went upstairs to look over them and get some sleep.
I was surprised they had wanted me to come down so sudden. All of it makes sense now.
I laid in the soft bed opening the curtains viewing the beautiful starry sky. The stars in Tokyo seemed brighter than in Dubai. I missed Tokyo immensely. Dubai wasn't my home, even with the private island Eisuke had for the both of us. I didn't feel at peace with it.
I shut my thoughts off setting my head on the pillow quickly going into a light sleep. I needed lots of rest for tomorrow. Even though I hadn't done anything crazy in a while I was determined to give it my all even if it was the last dangerous thing I ever did.
