The summer had passed by uneventfully, with Oliver and I writing each other every once in a while to discuss Quidditch plays and things like that, nothing romantic at all. Hermione had gone home after a week or two at the Burrow to spend time with her parents. Harry had gone home after a few days with us, but Fred, George, and Ron had flown Mr. Weasley's flying car to rescue him from his horrid aunt and uncle, which Mrs. Weasley was definitely not happy about. We were all gathered around the breakfast table, eating our food in a nice silence, before Errol flew straight into the window.

"Maggie, dear, go fetch the post," Mrs. Weasley said. I stood up and leaned out of the window to grab the post in Errol's foot.

"It's our Hogwarts letters," I explained, handing each person their letter and supply list. "They even sent us Harry's, Dumbledore must know you're here," I said, handing Harry his letter as well.

"There's only one place we we'll get all these supplies, Diagon Alley. Everyone, finish up your breakfast and go get ready, we'll leave in about 20 minutes," Mrs. Weasley instructed, standing up and walking over to her room. I cleared off my plate and rushed over to Ginny and I's room. I tugged on some jeans and a Puddlemere jumper. I grabbed my Hogwarts cloak as well and buttoned the single button before walking over to the bathroom. I let my hair hang down in its natural waves and brushed my teeth before putting some makeup on.

"I'm ready, don't leave without me!" I yelled out when I heard the family gather in the living room. I ran out and stood in the crowd of Weasleys gathered around the fireplace.

"Come on, Harry, dear. You go first," Mrs. Weasley said, meaning that Harry should be the first one to step into the fireplace and travel by Floo Powder.

"But mum, Harry's never traveled by Floo Powder before," Ron said, a concerned tone in his voice. I stepped forward.

"I'll show him," I said, reaching into the bucket of ash and grabbing out a hand full and stepping into the fireplace. "Diagon Alley!" I shouted, throwing the ash into the green flames that were lapping at my feet. I closed my eyes as I felt myself moving, opening them to see the busy streets of Diagon Alley full of students who were shopping for supplies. George popped into the grates behind me, nearly making me fall over. He grabbed onto my shoulders, preventing me from toppling over, and helped me out of the fireplace.

"You okay?" He asked, stepping out of the fireplace after me. Fred came after, than Mrs. Weasley, Ginny, Ron, Percy, and Mr. Weasley, but Harry never came.

"Arthur, is Harry coming after you?" Mrs. Weasley asked. Mr. Weasley shook his head.

"Why? Is he not here?" Mr. Weasley asked.

"No he's not, oh dear. Um, kids, why don't you go and get your stuff? We'll meet you all right here in two hours, alright? Um, Ron go with Percy, Fred and George, Ginny go with Maggie," Mrs. Weasley said in a hurry, running off to see where else Harry could've ended up with Mr. Weasley in tow.

"Ok, Ginny. Let's go get some money from my vault at Gringotts, then we'll get all our things," I said, wrapping my arm around her shoulders as we walked towards the bank.

"I've never been in here before," she whispered as we walked into Gringotts, down the main aisle. The goblins looked around at us, making Ginny scoot closer to me. I walked up to the main goblin, clearing my throat and reaching into my pocket to grab my key.

"Um, Maggie Smallwood. Vault 968," I squeaked out, holding up my key. The goblin made a clicking sound, rustling through a few papers. He handed the goblin next to him a map.

"Follow me, please," the goblin with the map said, opening a small little gate and ushering both Ginny and I behind it. He climbed into a little cart, and Ginny and I did as well. I wrapped my arm around her tightly as the cart took off with a start. It went so fast, I felt as if Ginny would fly away. It was a good thing that my vault was one of the closest ones to the ground floor, so the ride only lasted about 3 or 4 minutes. When the cart jerked to a stop, the goblin and I stepped out of the cart, Ginny stayed in it to try and catch her breath, walked up to the door, and helped to open the vault. I took out a small little velvet bag and walked into my vault, my vault that was full of golden galleons. When my parents had died, I was left with all of their money and I was given money from the airline as well, so I took all the money and converted it into wizard money, leaving a hundred dollars in muggle money for any emergencies. I filled up my bag with galleons, along with one more bag for any money that I'd need throughout the school year. When I was finished, we walked back to the cart and rode back to the main building.
