Chapter 1: Extra!

(At Ramshackle Dorm, Roxy finished packing her bag and stared out the window, eyes focusing hard as if she saw somebody in the distance)

Roxy:...

SFX: Knock, Knock.

???: Can we come in?

Roxy: Oh, yeah. Go ahead.

(The door opened, revealing the Ramshackle ghosts. Looking at her with an ounce of concern as she jerked her head to meet them.)

Ghost A: Hey, Roxy, you've been quiet for a while now. Is everything okay?

Ghost B: If something is upsetting you, you can tell us.

Roxy: Guys, don't worry, I'm alright. I'm almost done packing up for the week at Heartslabyul. That reminds me, can you guys do me a favor?

Ghost C: Name it.

Roxy: I'd like to know if there's a place in the dorm with a loose floorboard so I can hide this.

(Referring to a box that she picked out of her mini backpack, inside it was a magical paintbrush. That could create and destroy with the use of paint and thinner.)

Ghost A: Of course, we can, but do pray tell what's in the box.

Roxy: I'd rather keep it a secret, but let's just say it's something that was given to me by a friend who thinks I'd find a better use for it. But I'd rather just have it out of plain sight, if anyone were to get too curious, it ends up in the wrong hands.

(The ghosts looked at each other, knowing she had her reasons, and while they were curious, they didn't pry too much into it.)

Ghosts: Of course, right this way.

(The ghosts led Roxy to a storage closet while finding an empty shoe box in a corner, deciding to put the box with the paintbrush inside before closing it with the lid. Placing it carefully down in the hole before placing the floorboard back down.)

Roxy: 'I know you wanted me to put it to better use, Oswald, but this is for the best. I hope you understand.'

(Once she was done, Roxy let out a sigh before being startled when she heard a knock all the way downstairs.)

Roxy: Oh frick, Coming!

Grim: I got it!

(With Grim all the way downstairs, he was able to answer the door for her. And was greeted by Ace and Deuce.)

Ace: Hey, Grim is Rox downstairs yet. It's almost time to go.

Grim: How should I know? Last I checked, she was in the bedroom.

Ace: Oi, Rox, are you ready to leave yet?

Deuce: Don't rush her, there's still some time left.

Roxy: Hey guys, sorry about that, but I'm just about ready.

(Roxy would be coming down the stairs as Shikoku would be dragging the dufflebag that carries their belongings in her jaws. Carefully not letting anything break, while Grim would be tugging on Roxy's pant leg.)

Grim: Took you long enough, now let's go!

Roxy: Ah, before we go... There's something I should tell you guys first.

(The boys all looked at Roxy, confused as she continued.)

Roxy: I... Haven't been completely honest with you guys and didn't know if it was safe to tell you at the time.

Ace: Just what are you talking about?

Roxy: Can we take this outside? It's better this way.

(They briefly nodded, allowing her to take them into a clearing outside of the Ramshackle dorm's yard where no one would be able to see them. Roxy would be standing a few meters away from them.)
