Sometime later, Jack woke up in a cave. The other occupants looked up miserably at him. An old man with a long tangled beard looked at him with a toothless grin. "Good luck gettin' out kid." He rasped gruffly. Jack coughed and looked around. "Where are we?"
"You're in a cave"
"No duh. I mean where's the cave?"
"Underground"
"Don't mind him. He's always teasing the youngsters" an old woman said softly. "No no no you don't understand! The things I say are important!" The old man laughed. Jack rolled his dark brown eyes and pulled at his arms. They were chained to a wall. "Crap" he hissed. Jack looked at the old man. "Can you tell us about where we are?" The man didn't respond, instead looked at a woman with tangled gray hair and wise green eyes. "Well, it's the crater cave, the place we all crack, and it's been taken over" she said, her brow creasing in concentration and worry. "And it's the place where the girl with the white hair will liberate us, but, well, we've been waiting for some time." She said with a sad smile. Jack nodded slowly despite his growing confusion. A voice came from a door-like hole in the cave wall. "BRING IN THE HUMANS" it yelled. The voice was female but unfamiliar. Hands took off the chains and lead them into the room. Their captor stood beside a large platform holding a spear-like stick. On it was a girl with blonde hair, on her knees with her head hanging down. She looked maybe a bit younger than Dayna and Jack. She wore a short, silk, satin, and some kind of airy material dress, with fringe and ruffles and the chest and bottom. It was stained with blood.
