ROSE'S POV
"Dad!" Rose screamed as the Peacekeeper dragged her out of the room, the door shutting, shutting her out of her life. He struggled against the heavily armored guard but he didn't flinch. Letting her head droop and her pale hair cover her face, she let out a whimper of submission. This is what the Capitol wanted. For her to be weak, under its rule, and a coward. Rose couldn't help but be afraid. She'd always lived with her dad. Images of the pale, gentle man flashed in her mind. Helping her and guiding her. And she had to abandon him.
Jay Met with her as Rey boarded the high speed train. She watched as her district disappeared, silent as Jay moved closer and whispered, "Rose, you've gotta try. You have to win. No matter what."
