"You can't stay in here forever" Chance pulled the cover off of me

"Yes I can" I groaned

"Get up. Let's go to the studio. Put all these feelings into a song or something. Im giving you 15 minutes."

I got out of bed and brushed my teeth. I didn't even bother to do anything to my hair. I searched through my bags and put on the first pair of sweats I got to, along with a tank top

"Happy now?" I walked into the living room

"Let's go" Chance grabbed my hand

He opened the passenger side door for me before getting on the drivers side himself.

"What studio do you go to?" He pulled out of the driveway

"The one by Milano's on 83rd" I looked straight ahead

"Thats the one Solana goes to. I didn't know you went there"

"Yeah. Same room actually"

We pulled up to the building and went inside to the fourth floor. I used my key to unlock the door and we walked in.

Chance sat at the soundboard and I sat in the swivel chair next to him

"I want you to get in the booth and let everything out. Trust me, you'll feel alot better"

I went and sat in the booth. I took a few deep breaths before putting the headphones on. Chance began to play an instrumental so I closed my eyes and just let my emotions flow....

I can hear your laugh

Its ringing through the hallways

I can see your smile

Its what gets me through my hard days

And your words was suppose to get me through my heartache, before my heart break

There's an emptiness that only a few ever feel

And I somehow missed the meaning of love that is real

And it compliments my scars that will never heal

Maybe I didn't deserve you

Maybe I just couldn't cure you

They told me that I didn't hurt you

Why do I feel like I turned you?

Maybe I don't understand it

Tell me is this how you planned it?

Did you see us so stranded

Maybe I'm too much to manage

And if you weren't gonna guide me

Why bring me into the light?

Must have done something to make you want to run and hide

Why oh why didn't you just live your life?

And every girl needs a mother

And dammit I needed you!

Instead you duck for cover

And you ran from the truth

And like kids do

You waited around for proof

Maybe I didn't deserve you

Maybe I just couldn't cure you

They told me that I didn't hurt you

Why do I feel like I turned you?

And maybe I don't understand it

Tell me is this how you planned it?

Did you see us so stranded

Maybe I'm too much to manage

Maybe I didn't deserve you....

I wiped the tears that fell. My breath was shaky. "I hate it, I sound stupid" I snatched the headphones off and walked out of the booth

"That's the best part. Let the music mirror your emotions. Let the world know your pain. I'm sure there's someone out there that can relate to what you are feeling right now. Your voice is beautiful."

He was right. I needed it, to let it out and I did feel better. I love my mother but maybe this is what I needed to better myself.

"What are you going to call it?"

I thought about for a moment "The letter"

"Why that name?"

"Because all my mother left me was a letter so in return, this is my letter to her."

He nodded "Cool, cool"

"Thanks for bringing me here. I really needed this. It was like a wake up call for me" I laid my head on his shoulder. We were now sitting on the loveseat that was in the studio

"No problem."

"Do you have to leave tomorrow?" I pouted

"You want me to stay?"

I nodded

"Come here" he pulled me onto his lap so I was straddling him "If you give me a kiss, then I'll stay" his hands played with the hem of my shirt.

I bit my bottom lip as I thought about it

"Can I kiss you?" His face was now closer than before

"Yes" I breathed out above a whisper

His lips connected with mine and my arms wrapped around his neck. He slipped his tongue in my mouth. I was enjoying this kiss. The way his tongue moved around my mouth, it has to be great in other places. His hands found their way into my sweatpants and he squeezed my ass causing me to moan into the kiss. He bit my bottom lip, gently sucking on it before he let it go. He trailed kisses from my jawline down to my neck.

"Looks like I'm staying here" He pecked my lips and a smile spread across his face
