Chapter 16

Chance

These past few months have been great. I shouldn't have overreacted the way I did. I apologized numerous times to Kehlani.

"Hey babe." I kissed her cheek.

"Hey. I didn't know you were coming."

"I gotta support my baby." I smiled

I sat in the back of the studio while Kehlani worked on some new songs. Different people from Trey songz to Jacquees came in to do remixes and work with her.

"I'm tired." Kehlani whined, laying her head on my shoulder

"Wrap it up for today. You dont have to do it all in one day." I kissed her forehead "You wanna go out to dinner?"

She shook her head no "I want taco bell."

"Really?" I laughed

"Yes really. Come on. Let's go." She got up and turned off the sound board

I followed her out of the room and to the parking lot.

I drove to the nearest Taco Bell and went to the drive thru.

"What you getting?" I looked over at her

"2 beef burritos and a chicken quesadilla."

"Let me get 6 beef burritos and 4 chicken quesadillas." I spoke into the speaker

I drove around to the window and paid for the food. After a short wait, the worker handed me a bag with our food. I drove back to Kehlani's place and we went inside.

"Who is all this food for?" She olaced the bag on the table

"Me and you." I came up behind her

She pulled out what she wanted and handed me the rest. We sat at the table and ate.

"I can't believe you ate all of that." She threw away our trash

"Why? Im a man."

She laughed and walked into the living room.

"So I'm not a man?" I pinned her down on the couch

"Chance get off me."

"Nah tell me."

She sighed "You are a man Chance."

"That's what I thought." I tickled her sides

"Ok! Ok! Get off me!" She spoke through laughs

I stopped and sat on the couch beside her.

Kehlani

"Move babe. Let me up." I tapped Chance's arm. "I gotta use the bathroom."

"Damn, again? That taco bell got you shitting like a duck." He laughed

"Ha. Ha. Shut up." I walked down the hall to the bathroom.

I scrolled through instagram while I sat on the toilet. Once I was finished, I flushed and washed my hands.

I laid across my bed and continued looking through instagram. Chance walked in and laid beside me.

"My stomach hurts." I pouted

"That damn taco bell." He laughed

"It's not funny." I scooted away from him

"Ok. I'm sorry." He pulled me back

We laid like this and eventually, we both fell asleep.

3:45 AM

I rolled out of bed. I yawned as I made my way to the bathroom.

"I am never eating taco bell again." I mumbled to myself

I flicked the light on and sat on the toilet.

I grabbed my phone and sleepily scrolled through twitter.

"Oh my god." I paused "Chance!" I yelled
