"Allison don't listen to her, she's crazy. I mean, she killed my parents because I threw a butter knife at her hand. Just don't listen to her, please." Brooke cried even though she nor Kate or Derek could see or hear her at the moment.

The young brunette hunter stood frozen in the door frame of the dungeon as she watched Kate walk over to a table with an electric torture machine fired up and ready to go. Brooke followed the cords with her eyes and they lead to Derek's bare chest. When his eyes flashed their vibrant blue he seemed kind of scared, like just showing his lost innocence was enough torture. Whenever Brooke had asked him about his eyes, Derek would carelessly ignore her and move onto another subject.

A small yelp left Brooke's lips when Kate turned on the electricity. It flowed through the cords and into Derek which caused him to scream out in pain. Electricity was one of the few things that could damage a werewolf so bad that it stopped them from healing properly. Tears escaped Brooke's eyes as she watched Derek's fidget irregularly.

"Do something Alli! Please.Don't let her do this." Brooke begged her friend with everything in her ghost body.

"Will the electrocution kill him?" Allison questioned and it made Kate stop, Brooke sighed in gratitude. She stepped closer to Derek and saw his head fall as he made slow, steady breaths.

"Don't get all ethical on me, Alli." Kate smiled.

"What is he?" She asked.

"Shape-shifter, lycaon, werewolf. There's a lot of names for things like them, but to me it's just another stupid animal." Kate walked over and pried open Derek's mouth to show Allison his canines. "Gentle herbivores don't have teeth like these, Alli."

Allison began to question her entire family, all of the hushed conversations that stopped when she entered the room. The tiny lies that they told her. She started to feel so hurt that it brought tears to her eyes. Brooke let out a shaky breath and placed a hand on her shoulder, but Allison didn't stir.

"They're not all like her, trust me. You don't have to a be like Kate, Allison. Please don't stoop down to her level. Ever." Brooke stated.

"Is Derek the one killing people, all of those animal attacks. Did he kill Brooke's parents?" Allison questioned.

"Hell no he didn't! It was her Allison, she killed my family." Brooke replied.

"There are three werewolves and a girl running with them. That was Brooke. I'm sure she pissed one of them off, so they went after her parents. But those wolves, Derek and another beta, and then there's an alpha. Alpha's are bigger, stronger, and a whole lot nastier than betas." Kate said then looked at her shaking niece.

"Come on, I'm sure your parents are wondering where you are." Kate began to lead Allison out of the dungeon, leaving the door open behind them. Brooke turned back to an almost unconscious Derek and took a small step forward.

"Derek?"

"Go. . . with her." He seethed.

"Not this time, I'm staying right here with you." Brooke stated.

"She needs you even if she can't see or hear you, please, just go."

"This doesn't have anything to do with Allison and you know it, you hate her. You just don't want me to see you at your weakest, it was one of your rules remember?"

"Brooke. . . please. I'll make it up to you later."

"You better. And don't think that I won't be back." Brooke sighed then ran out of the underground dungeon.

Brooke raced after the two Argents until they stopped at Allison's car, which was actually Victoria's SUV. As soon as Brooke caught her breath, she heard what they were saying because she didn't have her heart pounding out of her chest.
